My favorite Gundam may be the GP02 Physalis,
but my first Gundam are the Triple Dom...
I'm can't pick between the Dom's and the Master Gundam at first, but I end up buying the Dom's because of the bazooka (^^).
PS - A stupid reason, I know...

Dom isn't a Gundam, is it?

Nope. It's a mobile suit, unless they make a Gundam version of them...which they haven't. The closest would technically be the DOM Troopers from GSD, but then I remember how much GSD sucked and vomit a few internal organs.

Huh...ever since I started playing SD Gundam G Generation Wars, I'm starting to appreciate more Gundams that aren't on this list, such as the Crossbone Gundam X1 Full Cloth. It takes the best elements of the Crossbone Gundam X1 and the Crossbone Gundam X3 and puts them together in the best possible way. Also, there's the Ex-S Gundam, which should be the first normal-sized Gundam to utilize an I-Field around the cockpit, not to mention that its Incoms are the OldType's version of funnels.

@Mr Bushido
I think the Mechas in GSD aren't bad. But the story of GSD was sucks. I hate that part.
So, you already noticed why my first choice would be Gundam Crossbone X-1 Skull Heart Full Cloth. Pretty nice, right? Sadly, it isn't one of the options in this polling.
About Ex-S Gundam, because its pilot (Ryuu Roots) in the manga is an oldtype, then it is not possible to use funnels nor bits. But it has ALICE, an artificial intelligence system which allowed Ex-S Gundam to take over the control and enter berserk mode. AWESOME! But I still prefer Crossbone series or Zeta series after all... ^_^

Wing Zero as it was my first Gundam. Well technically I suppose Wing would've been my first Gundam but I like Zero better. Freedom gundam would be a close second. I like it better than Strike Freedom because in the Freedom Kira was still faced challenges rather than complete domination.

He and SF are really Godlike in GSD making the battle isn't intense anymore...

[/h]I very much like Mobile Suit Victory Gundam because this is the most dramatic , most violent and bloodiest of all the Gundam stories in the universal century era. The earth federation in u.c. 0153 has really weakened to the point that it stands no chance against the zanscare empire invasion. The only fighting force opposing them is league millitaire, which is composed of rag-tag civilians and ex-federation pilots. I basically like this concept where people without a proper organization just goes and forms an army just for the sake of what is right. And the good guys of this series are fighting for freedom and not for independence unlike the same old tried and boring plot of some of the u.c Gundam series'. The other Gundam cartoons look like wimps compared to the high death toll of this series, specially the scenes where mobile suit pilots take swift(and mostly stupid and futile deaths like what happened to Helen where she got crushed in her cockpit while she already defeated the opposing mobile suit; Kate, who also dies while supporting the transport rail; Junco, who died while attempting to defuse a bomb; and specially Franny, who after her mobile suit just got whacked by a heavy beam cannon, got incinerated after her mobile suit explodes in a very swift way) deaths which will make you stop and ponder to what the heck kind of manner. Overall, if you watch this series, you will be very surprised to see what in store for you at the end because you will feel very surprised and somewhat disappointed because this is not your normal U.C. Gundam. [/h]

Also, while I know about those deaths, mark your spoilers. Still...the Shrike Team is infamous for dying almost every episode, including their introduction episode...

however, V Gundam series is the one that Yoshiyuki Tomino hate. He was in bad mood when doing this gundam storyline. so although it has very sadistic ending, its overall storyline isn't very good compared to the other gundam series that Tomino-sensei created making its overall rating was also poor.

Victory Gundam was one of Tomino's worst UC Gundam series.

From what I've heard, Tomino was one of the few people who hated it. Fan response is generally positive. I've heard far more hate over ZZ Gundam, which I thought was a damn fun show.
I'm currently watching the show (almost at the end, with only ten episodes left), and aside from the very confusing beginning and the next episode previews (which sometimes say, "This person is going to die next episode"), it's been good. Not the best but far from the worst.

Actually ZZ Gundam is very poor in rating for first half of the series. Yup, those overdose funny things aren't in the right place. That's because Tomino-sensei was't participated in the making of first half episodes, but he replaced by his junior assistant.
Well, Gundam series aren't created for comedy purpose. Then after Tomino-sensei realized about this problem, he took over the production. He rewrote the upcoming scenarios and ta-da. A brand new last half series of Gundam ZZ was born. The upcoming last half episodes which have a lot better rating than the first half.
As for Victory Gundam, Tomino-sensei was in bad mood when he create the series. Some references said he was in the middle of confrontation with Bandai. Looks like it was about legality status of gunplas which produced by Bandai at that time.
