Whats your PC rating according to Windows rating system
0
A rating determined by the lowest sub-score and not the average... epic fail Microsoft. Most nerds I know can look at someones computer specs and determine how good of a computer it is without the need of some silly rating system.

This
5400rpm is pretty much the standard in computers nowadays, since 90% of consumers only look at the capacity instead of the revolutions per minute. Having a 7200rpm doesn't generate enough additional buyers to justify the premium for the manufacturer.

I think you mean 7200rpm instead of 5400rpm, and 10000rpm/SSD in place of 7200rpm. 5400rpm hard drives are only standard in notebooks.

Um, I got this.

Tried refreshing, but all i got was an error saying,
"Cannot complete assessment.
The assessment or operation did not complete successfully. This is due to an error being reported from the operating system, driver or other component."
Any info on how to solve this?

That's for my old 2 Gb RAM.
5.7 for Data Transfer Rate.
Another got 6.8 except my processor which is 7.1
Practically, i am in the same boat as Kaimax.

Mine is 2.3
Supposedly because of my graphics card
Dell dimension e 521
AMD 64dual core 2gig. Cooling fan big enough to cool the Saraha. Driven by a flat head Ford V8
3 gig ram
Nvidia 6150 le. Yea its old but it works beautifully
Everytime I check it says "New hardware detected"
I run it.
I get 2.3.
It never saves the information>
I have no trouble running anything I have on the hard drive.
I have Vista with all the updates.
Vista also does not save when it says "Creating a restore point"
It is my sincere belief that therein lies the problem.
I have 7 on order

3.3 for me, not a very good graphic card. But since i only watch anime on it... Ah, and it's a laptop btw, so the score is always lower than a desktop computer.

3.5 If I remember correctly...But that's cause of the integrated piece of shit I have for a video card.... need money for a video card but don't have any XD..
Anyway I don't like the score cause it just gives you the lowest of the things it inspects...So even if one thing is at 3 and the rest is 7 or 8 or 9 you still get a score of 3..

It seems that users are falling under two brackets for this thread: 5.9 users, which have med to high end computers which are only being "held back" by their HDD rating standing at 5.9; and the "below" users, who seem to only use their computer for web browsing, watching videos, or any undemanding task.
I fall into the 5.9 bracket, since I see no logical need to spend the extra funds to purchase a SSD, as tempting as it may be to have "the latest and greatest".

Lol, held back by a 5.0 because stupid Windows 7 Aero isn't too "desktop-perfoming friendly".
And yes, with this new laptop getup, I can play L4D2. :)

Kind of Important
A ray of Tsunlight.
Spoiler:
Too lazy to cut down the cap to just that window.
Not too bad I think. Like mostly everyone else, I was let down by the HDD. I wasn't going to spring for any form of SSD. Still too expensive.

Low because I also fall into that category of people who do not care about their graphics card. I only use my computer for the internet, playing old Windows games and for watching anime. She'd probably be pretty good if I invested in it though.
