When did you start driving?

Again with relevance to me being a high school student, I'm taking steps to finally learning to drive. I'm all signed up for Driver's ED at my school and can't wait to apply for that permit. Hopefully I'll have my license by the time I'm 17. Anyway enough about me. With the FAKKU community mostly being adult males and such, you all probably have your own little driving stories. So my questions are the following:

1. When did you start driving?
2. How did you feel when you got your license?
3. Do you have an interesting driving story? If so, explain please.

Feel free to answer any of those questions and if you have any tips for a soon-to-be new driver, go right ahead.

Eleven(because the near cops where 50 miles away) plus i just ride the truck or my 150 Honda to school or the store.

On a Friday back in high school we just took the van from some retard house and drove north to frosty north just to do it.... we had 200$ between five guys, my 12 brother and a chick. The rest has to be censored for the shit we did, but it involves robbery, arson and violations of multiple international laws. Well worth the ass kicking and Two months in juvile.

I see you like to live it up like it's bingo night at an old folk's home. Which is surprisingly pretty damn crazy.

16. When I got my G1 License.

Quite boring in deed.

I don't drive. Why would I? Everywhere I need to go is in walking distance. My school pays for a monthly bus pass, so if I can't walk I can ride the bus. A car is just a expensive inconvenience for me, and I would never really use one anyway.

when i was 16, thanks to my sis who teached me.

2. How did you feel when you got your license?
Nothing special...was just a license...

Sometimes i gotta drive while my friends are drunk...

16. When I got my license I felt...great. I was glad that I able to drive now. I also go a story. Me and one of my friend were going to an event at a hotel since we were part of culinary in college. Both me and my friend didn't know where the hotel was so we end up following one of chefs. As we followed our chef, he went ahead of us and we try to catch up, but couldn't. In the process we end up running 2 stoplight, and nearly rammed over a cat. To our surprised chef knew we did that and all 3 of us had a laugh. The next day in lecture chef mention it to the class and now everyone thinks I'm a crazy driver. Good thing that was awhile back. Everyone forgot about it.

cant be assed getting a licence. too much hard work too do so. i just get around by walking or hitchhiking

I'll just answer the question. When I was 16, which was 5 years ago.

15.5 when I joined FAKKU!, nah, took the classes down the road of my house, waste of time really, didn't teach me anything I didn't know and showed us videos with content equal to that of dubbed hentai.

when i was 16,

and as form my driving story, was driving back home with my dad after he came and picked me up from summer school [oh teh suck] i had just gotten my licsens so i drove us back, and cuase the nearest school that offerd the summer school deal was in a town about a halfhour away, we had to hit the highway. was fine, all was normal me and him just chating, untill i see the truck infront of us make a made swurv into the right lane, i got the spidy tingly sense thingy and followed suit, just in time to miss a head-on collision with a car going in the opisite direction going seventy miles an hour, it did however clip us, which sent us spinning into the ditch were we rolled twice. broke my right arm three figured and my leg in three places, [no seatbelt] my dad got off with a few bruises as he was the smart one, so in summery, heading back from summer-school, drunken lady going the wrong way, clipped us, flipped three times totaling the truck, and a 6 mounts in the goddamn hospital, but plenty of insurance money from the lady.

I started taking driving lessons when I was 17 and 9 months (any younger is illigal)
Gained my driver's licence a year later

I WAS 17 WHEN I STARTED DRIVING.

I started at 18, but haven't been able to get my license because of financial problems and the fact that people park in the area that don't even live there (or park their cars on the street to sell) gives me less opportunity to take the car and drive.
Haven't taken the car since Summer.

1: I started driving when I was 18
2: It felt like a near death experience but I learned to like it.
3: I was driving and listening to my volcaloid music I did not pay attention and rammed into a care....I swear being an otaku will get me into deep trouble one of these days

I started driving around the age of 18, and let me tell you, learning to drive with a fat dude yelling at you most the time in the passenger seat is not the most pleasant way to learn to drive. *sigh* Dads...what can you do?

As for driving stories....well hell, just the other day, I was dropping my little brother off, and I decided to hop on the freeway, pretty crowded at the time, but it gets interesting when we see a rather banged up looking honda trying to merge next to us...apparently, this wasn't the best time to be playing Guile's Theme from Street Fighter II, because that's exactly when this bitch took the cigarette out of her mouth, tossed it out the window, and snapped. She literally starts swerving in and out of lanes like a maniac, I guess the song got her a little too pumped.

The funniest part about it....Guile's Theme went with it quite well :)
