where to find otaku girls
0
yea well that's the basic question where do you find otaku girls?
for anyone who dont know what otaku is
Otaku - The term is a loanword from the Japanese language. In English, it is usually used to refer to an obsessive fan of anime/manga and/or Japanese culture generally, and to a lesser extent Japanese video games.

Name three people on this site who don't know what otaku means.
Also: obscure assed jobs. Gas stations, EMTs, graveyard shifts, etc.

Otakus are generally male. Women tend to be Fujoshi instead, while they share similar interests to Otakus, they are also usually interested in things like Yaoi and boy-love. Women are commonly BOTH. Except in Japan. xD In Japan they tend to strongly dislike each other because one tends to like Moe while the other likes hot/cute guys. Usually most Fujoshi women get upset when you mistake them for an Otaku.
I would look at an Anime Con, post about meetups or something on the forum (but bring friends, they'll surely feel awkward if it's just you and them). If you hit it off, then awesome. If not, don't be too disappointed. There are a lot more women interested in this kind of stuff than you think.
And of course the internet. But I'd be wary of female Otakus on the internet, imagine if you met a man IRL. @A@ orz

Most Fujioshi I meet I met in school. Other than that, Work, Borders, Best buy, And of the like. Your best bet is to try and find a girl who can enjoy anime and manga but isn't a total Fujioshi. (Go for the athletic types there good for running ta get something at a convention.) ^^

I've never actually met one, but then again I haven't really met that many guy otakus either in real life.

Met one? I work with one! She’s responsible for getting me into sub anime. Hell one time she printed out at least ten pages worth list of cuts, changes and edits done to the English version of card captor sakura!

[size=10]High school...even middle school, lol!
I was a Otaku from 7th-11th grade mostly (I've calmed down since then). And there were always other girls just like me at my school.[/h]

I have met a few female weeaboos in my college days. They were spawn camping the tech-math lectures, wearing nightwish shirts and drawing gay ass rape involving "fabulous" boys.
I steered clear of them!

A realisticly close place to look is at your local comic book store or video game store. The only problem is if you see a girl working at gamestop or the like, chance are she is hit on everyday. So you're going to have to bring your A' game.

The problem with female otaku's is the majority are fangirls who go ohmaigawwd at every hot guy in an anime. And have to, repeat, every time they see them that they're so hot, or they're so cool, or whatever.
Fuck that.
If I'm into an anime, I'll go search out more things related to the anime. Like manga, doujin, fanfics (rarely though), etc.
Sometimes I'll get merchandise, but I'm not a big materialistic anime fan. I have a few things from when I was really young. When I was 13 I got an Inuyasha plushie at Otakon and used it as my 'moogle' because I was dressed as Lulu from FFX.
I also have a Sakura and Li doll (yes dolls), along with a Clow book with all the cards in it.
The last thing I bought anime related was a Yoshitaka Amano wallscroll based off of the art concept of Vampire Hunter D which was probably a year or two ago.
But that's way more artistic than anime fanbased wallscrolls.
Spoiler:
I can marathon anime, I can sit down and play games, and I just enjoy it in general.
Places that you could meet girls like that?
I dunno, it's not like I have some secret hangout.
Forums of special interests, cons, school if you notice she's wearing something.
You could try for a girl and get her into anime. It's not too hard, figure out her interests and direct her towards an anime you'd think she'd like.
The anime movie that got me officially hooked to anime was Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, but I had known what anime was before that, just nothing beyond Inuyasha and Pokemon (I was 13 Dl )
