I chose Ami because I took pity of her and her predicament.
She never got a chance because she was never mature enough to admit that she wasn't mature enough to accept the fact that she didn't want to take a chance because she viewed it as a hopeless cause.
I also chose here because she's admittedly the hottest girl(in looks) in Toradora!
Here's some facts that you might take in consideration when you look at my reasons for choosing Ami:
* Pity is the ultimate weapon and it's not really a replacement for attraction
* Looks aren't the only thing that attracts people but they sure take a lot of space when they're affecting that choice
* I didn't praise Ami's Personality, i even insulted her.
* Much of ami's personality is relatively unknown...She doesn't get much screen time.........
Here's some reasons why you could choose Mariya:
* You are open-minded and you chose the person that best personifies beauty or something to you.
* you have been trapped and you are now in an emotional state because you are a person that thinks that this is the end of your manhood.
*You like Mariya's personality( the best reason) of being funny, demented, crazy and smart.

You are wrong. Mariya is the guy pretending to be a girl (AKA Trap). There is no "maria" in Maria+holic. It's just a short for his name. There is Mariya Shido and Shizu Shido. You are retarded and don't even know what you are talking about.

Maa ii ka.Just because you've seem more of Maria Holic doesn't mean you know everything about Ami or apparent at all..beside the skin deep "facts". Especially when I don't think Maria is all that unique anyway.
Ami's character is very interesting and she develop a lot during the coarse of the series. She's definitely more develop than Taiga.

Haha~ SRSLY.... I have no idea of the both characters... I judged them by my tastes, and the Mariya (guy) won hands down for me in attractiveness (the blue haired chick just didn't make the cut for me... not even barely), personality and all that details are another story. I didn't know Mariya was a trap until I read almost all posts screaming TRAPS.
Oh well... That's already.... 3 times I've been trapped this year. XD

Mariya is definitely more attractive for me, yes I know it's a trap, based on their appearance as well as dressing design. Amy is ok, but her character design is just average in my opinion. Mariya is a trap (mention once more) but gave more cosplay service in the anime than Amy did, so yeah Mariya gives out a more attractive vibe.

I voted for ami since I absolutely love Toradora! despite the crazy emotions and stupid parts towards the end of the show but overall it's a great anime and even though ami is a bitch most of the time, she's cool...and hot.
