I mean, he's the God-dammned Batman.
And for all intents and purposes, if you can face several armed goons, beat the shit out of them *and* not kill them in the process....yeah, my hat's off to him.
And while I don't really believe in "court justice", killing someone isn't a better solution either. If anything, you're letting that person go with about 5 miliseconds of pain as his skull shatters. They'll never answer for their crimes - because they're no longer there, see?
Sometimes living with consequences, scorned and tortured can make for a far more horrible punishment then any death can ever hope to be.

Nope Kira kills both good and bad people. Punisher never ever kills a law enforcer.
