Would you evacuate during a flood?
In times of trouble, would you evacuate your home state/region/shire?

If my house was flooded then yes. If the street was flooded then no, since that usually clears up after 3 days.

No I wouldn't, I'd rather die get bitten by snakes or weird bugs that came into my house and then get myself electrocuted

As to why I won't leave: I dislike the "merry, Mary, marry" sound merger, which every other U.S. dialect has. Don't question my logic in that case; because, indeed, dialect is more important than safety in this case.
I could understand your logic that you prioritise something that you find more important than another one , but thinking that your little obsession is important , that is illogical .

[...] my state, it seems to be the last haven for logic in the U.S. (in my opinion)I'd rather stay here, thanks. Life or death.
i'm afraid i don't see the logic in facing eminent danger when escape is a viable alternative.

Depends on the circumstance and if there's enough evidence that it won't be a major flooding, like one foot of water MAX. Any more than that and you're just asking for trouble by staying. Especially more so if there's any sort of current in the flood water.

There is a lack of logic right nya.
OT: Nope, I'd stay right here... If flood waters got up here, there'd be no escape anyway. We're up a fair bit higher than most of the surrounding areas. The local city/ town wouldn't take much to flood, though

Mash, I'm going to put this up here because you asked but no I don't believe this matter is serious enough for SD; there isn't really a discussion to be had here."yes, I would evac."

Your opinion is that of "This is my street and fuck you car I'm not going to step out of your way even if you hit and kill me cause it's my street and I don't want to leave it for even a second."
You sure aren't very smart kid.

I for one am a person that's always open to visiting new areas anyway, I love seeing new sites and meeting new kinds of people, so the feeling of having one state as my concrete home doesn't really apply to me. Yes, I do live in one area, but I travel often.
So in other words, yes, I'd be willing to leave. If the cause was so drastic that is and if I was effected by it. I wouldn't move until whatever it is actually 'hits' me.
