Would you rather?
Would you rather win 100m lottery or set a world record

I'm going with the lottery. I know that I'll never set a world record. I'm only average in everything I do.

That cash amount is way too high; it's not an equal tradeoff.
You can set a world record in just about anything with 100 million and have a significant amount of it left over.

I prefer cash, why set a world record when it's gonna be broken sooner or later...

The money lul. You never mentioned how big the thing you set the record for was. See all those people in the world record books? How many of em do you think are famous enough to make as much money as the lottery choice?

money would be more worth it at the end but to be immortalized in history sounds like a more rewarding thing. what am i gonna do with all that money once im dead? but if i become the first to do something my name will be still known even after im dead.

Many people out there have talent but no money, who knows if that penniless begger down at the street could be the guy who can discover a cure for AIDs if given the funds.
What I'm trying to say is that having the money gives you more options.

I'd take the money, because who here honestly remembers who was the frist one to do everything. People think being the frist to do something will imortalize them but the truth is people forget these things fairly quickly so take the money.

Yea I realize now that for almost everyone 100m is much more worth it then a world record. I should of said a nice size lottery not to much not to little.
And the world record could be in anything and not just the first person to do it. Maybe even included things like finding the cure for cancer.

100m. I don't give a fuck if anyone knows I've broken a world record; heck I'd rather be alone than famous thank you very much.
