Your worst investment and/or biggest money loss

I spent around 300$ worth of manga at a local bookstore. They were cheap ranging from 3-6$ per volume and I read maybe 10 volumes until I stopped reading as watching anime was more convenient I would say. Now my books are on a shelf collecting dust. I wouldn't say it was my worst investment but money wise it is a big loss since I don't read them but they do look nice stacked neatly in my room, and I do own them so whenever I do get a chance I might start reading them again

wasting money on figures , though i still get confused on (i want the figure - but its a big waist of money)

I bought some rare-ass figures for 900 usd, I waited a bout 2 years, and then sold them for 750 usd.
Not that bad of a money loss, but still.

Buying manga since I never got around to finishing the series and some anime like Hellsing Ultimate since I only bought the first DVD.
Just feels like a waste since I never bothered finishing it.

Few years ago during my collage spring break. I was hungry and wanted some waffles, so I bought a plane ticket to Brussels,Belgium. Got there realized their waffles didn't taste right. Meet some crazies from London on their spring break. I decided to join in on a train ride with them and ended up in Amsterdam. Few days later at home looking at checking account. US-to-EUR over 3K blown for some ok waffles.
P.S. Never traveling by my self aging.

My new (well... refurbished) PS3 super slim does. not. WORK. It's BD is apparently dying so I have to go back to exchange it for another. While I will get a (working) one, currently it (along with the multitude of games I bought along with it) is my biggest money lost.

I spent 2000 dollars of my 2350 monthly salary (luckily my family helped with rent the next month) to buy a folded steel katana, hand-forged and folded 15 times, for over 32000 layers of steel. In the hand folding process, whenever you fold once, you double the number of layers...
But enough of the process of forging a sword, it was so expensive I couldn't pay my electric bill till my next check at the end of the following month.
Though I can't say it was such a waste, this motherfucking blade can cut down small trees.

Firearms as a hobby, I bought my rifle back in the middle of the gun ban scare this year and overpaid by about 300 dollars, but I really wanted it so it doesnt bother me much now, also at a convention last year I had a few drinks and bought an expensive figure from the dealer room that I regret. What type of rile did you get (model)?
It was a non matching Yugoslavian SKS in excellent condition, and I paid 550 for it which was insane, but I really wanted to go shooting.
Non-matching?
Wait. 550 DOLLARS? Wow, you lucky bastard. I plan on buying a M1 Garand next year. Facking love that gun.
Thats the next gun ill be getting, probably at the end of this month, but 550 for any SKS is ridiculous, they used to be 250 dollars.
On the original topic: My PSVita and 3DS, it seems the only use they ever get is when I go to cons or on a trip somewhere, and there is a lack of games.
Yea, but I think the price are going up because we are starting to kinda lean towards them due to Prez. Obama law (I think).
That and because Garands are becoming harder to find. Unless you're going for a replica.

Cocaine. that shit sucks. cost a ton of money for a tiny amount, and it only gets you high for a short time. then when you come down, you really want more. I can see how people throw their lives away for it. I'll never pay for it again though.
only other stuff I can think of is crap like bad video games, or maybe a faulty appliance. but since money doesn't mean much to me, none of it really stands out in my mind. just the coke because of all the hype surrounding it I guess.

The lease for the place I am living in now. ~$2000 a year more than my last place and oh so much worse. (no cell phone reception, no parking lot, no washing machines)
