Guys, it's right there. It's Dusty the cat. Warning though: NSFW.A link to a page, very informally written, about a sick guy who abused his cat and was stupid enough to put it on youtube? I don't think thats the original link(s).
The original poster apparently posted 3 links to (im guessing) pictures that were removed due to being to inappropriate I guess. I was just curious what they were of.
Oh w/e. Ill just be safe and stay unscarred.

Dude, what is wrong with you? How can you just shrug off what happened to Dusty? What happened to Dusty was sick and wrong.

Its sick and wrong I know, however am I supposed to get overemotional about it? These things happen almost everyday in the real world buddy. Just look at the hundreds of illegal puppy mills that are in operation. They just aren't posted on the net because most people aren't that dumb. This ain't something new, animal abuse is a serious problem that constantly occurs throughout the world. So one case gets the attention of the world...the only people who act surprised/super emotional over it are those who don't know how reality functions. Dusty is counted as lucky to have been rescued. A lot of abused animals end up dying in their own pools of urine/feces. Not everything is sunshine and rainbows buddy.

On the subject at matter, I really dont think youth really is be desensitized. Hell I grew up watching my brother play silent hill 1 and playing and seeing other gorey and general disturbing imagery. It hasn't effect me none at all I see someone get shot in a game and I dont personally care (less its a vital character of course) but a kid does it know it probably sparks the same reaction, no real difference. And besides, all youth at a age dosent really take in the full effect of things, gore, death, racism, and everything else till there older to understand what full impacts of it mean. But besides, it dosent really matter to much, so longs as kids are desensitized solely on games and the internet then I think its fine. Only when it starts to change in mass numbers into there real live perceptions do I see it as a problem.

I think we're desensitized, just not in reality. True we're seeing filth, gore, violence, and anything else that would make your grandparents retch(maybe?), but WHERE are we seeing it?
In movies, on TV shows, on the internet. If we were to see those acts in real life, I think we'd have more than just a night with the lights on.
I can't contemplate animal abuse, but when idiotic people think it's communist to regulate puppy mills, I feel like moving to Europe.
