I'm guessing they're either high, or they are just afraid of dogs.Or they are too corrupt for power

That was just pitiful. I mean the dog was caged. It's not like it swallowed condoms full of pot or anything and in front of kids too.

Meh.I really could care less that they shot two dogs. I mean, people are dying all over the earth and people have more sympathy for a dog than an actual human being.
But the fact that they shot them in front of the children maybe a little extreme, but then again it's Columbia. They probably see these things regularly there. Poor children and poor Columbia.
South America is a pretty corrupt place though.
Lol, I think the fact that they shot them in cold blood without reason is the problem here, whether or not children were nearby. Psychos? I dun care about dogs, but if that police came to My house I'd rather put up a gunfight than let them in, I mean, acting like that, who knows what they'll kill or harm next.
Scenario: Family eating dinner. Swat goes "holy shit, they got knives and small pitchforks, kill em!!!" -_- I mean, really, this is just as stupid as that.

It's hard for me to comment in an unbiased manner. I've never had respect for the United States Police Department. As long as they stay away from me, they can continue being dickless bullies everywhere else.
Never have I seen such an egotistical group of individuals. Give them some power and they go hog wild. Policy brutality incidents continue to get out of hand, and ridiculous amounts of tasing, spraying, and general brutality. I also love cops that randomly turn their lights on so they can speed through a stopped intersection because they are bigger than a red light.
I'm just glad the only police officer I've had to personally deal with was a nice guy, but I'm not convinced that any of his buddies are. Hell, the police department in my city has actually been under FBI investigation for back door deals and bargains as well as other "incidents" that haven't been released to the public. Way to go KPD.

I'm not as bugged by the killing of the dogs, more by the no-knock warrant on a guy who was found to be possessing such a small amount of pot, while the guy's family was home, traumatizing his kids, discharging weapons around his kids, and then charge him with child endangerment.I get the feeling there'll be a lawsuit for excessive force filed somewhere down the road.
Killing a caged dog? These cops should be fired!

As long as you did something illegal they have
the right to do anything they want.

So if I had a joint, the cops have a right to shoot my dogs?

To be honest this shows why people hate the poilce. There are a few isolated cases which get reported and then people end up going "ROW ROW FIGHT DA POWAH" the fact is the majority of the police are very helpful try their hardest and then get blamed for things out of their control. Keep things perspective.

Sadly, it's an unfortunate event, and I do feel that these guys suck hard as hell. My experiences with the police aren't very good at all (little sister accidentally dials 911, and I end up in a foster home for 2 months, when I'm mugged 3 years later...and they treat me like I'm some sort of dumb ass)
There are good cops out there, its the superiors however that tend to say screw it and do whatever it takes to keep station quotas up.
