Do you use contraceptives ?

Mustn't Run Away...
I was out drinking with some friends ,and was kinda alarmed to hear that many of them just don't use condoms stating reasons such as "It kills the mood to pull that shit out" , or the famous "It feels better raw anyway"...which while true really just seems like a bad payoff for an STI ,so I got to thinking who on Fakku actually practices safe sex..or if much like in hentai it's pretty much consequences be damned.

Starting out I always did, but recently and as of a few days ago, Ive went bareback. I guess for me and her, if we have trust and we know that we are healthy, we go on bareback. But that's just me.

My boyfriend tried them in the beginning but that didn't last long so he switched to pulling out. That got him paranoid, thinking I might get pregnant. Long story short I'm on birth control now and it's great :D

Umm, safe sex and latex are both fetishes of mine so...
In a more general sense,
Use condoms until:
You are both tested.
One of you have a semi-permanent means of birth control.

I'm not as on top of using them as I probably should be, which I often feel bad about.
Generally speaking, if I'm in a monogamous relationship, I notice the tendency to use condoms kind of peters off once we both know we're clean and sane. And I'm on birth control.

i feel that if you've both been tested, are clean, and are in a serious relationship, then as long as i get on birth-control, that's enough. i feel like most people that i know start out condom, birth control, and then later in the relationship lose the condom.

If I can, I go raw, it feels better. The again, I've only had sex with people I know dun have any STD.
0
Depends on who it is, if it's someone close enough that I trust would tell me to use a condom if they knew they might have an STD, no matter how small that chance are, or if they're not on the pill, I go unprotected. If it's someone I hooked up with on a party or something like that I'll use a condom just to be on the safe side.

after ive been with a person for awhile and we've been tested(gotta let em know you clean also), no condoms i dont really care bout the future kid part cause im not messing with anything that i dont think would be a ok parent and im sadly ready for kids

I'm with the rest of these people. no condom if i can but I'm also very choosy about my partners. Oddly enough they have all been virgins so ive never had to worry about diseases or infections. interesting now that i think about it... I'm a virgin killer! its only been 3 people but it still counts! on a more serious note though i pull out and only have sex at all on safe days if my partner isnt on some kind of birth control.

It's the dollar store... things are CHEAP for a reason...
Seriously, contraception is a worthy investment.
Sure it's five bucks now, but that's thousands of dollars you'll be paying to support a child if you went without.

Meh, condoms aren't as effective as people think they are.
If you really want to see why I say that.
Perfect-use pregnancy rate for condoms is about 2%.
This is, basically put, a guarantee that the condom will fail 2/100 times.
Seems small, until you factor in that this is the pregnancy rate. A woman goes through her monthlies, suprisingly, about 12 times a year. However, only about half the time is there actually an egg.
So that's about 6 times a year.
And there's, at most, about a 5 day window for each of those times.
So only about 30 days out of 365 is there a chance to get pregnant. Which is about 8.2% chance. This is without even considering that many times the female body will expel it even if she does become pregnant due to either health issues with her, or the baby. Or some other reason.
So if you consider that.
About 8 of the 100 times, she is capable of getting pregnant. And the perfect condom use rate is 2 out of a 100 times.
What the heck?
And this isn't even the actual failure rate of condoms. Considering that a lot of the times, she isn't capable of getting pregnant. There is still the matter of any potential disease you might be spreading. Because if sperm can get through, so can many of the STIs.
So yeah.
Overall, Condoms aren't as safe as people think they are. I mean they're better than bareback, but not really as much as you are lead to believe.

I haven't had condoms used since... wow. I probably only used them during maybe a quarter of the time I was with my ex, and that was the first quarter for a 2 year span.. slightly longer because we did have sex off and on just because.
I used to be on birth control when I had insurance, and it was great. Going bareback and finishing inside is the best thing ever.
Now it's just bareback and pulling out. Is it as effective as a condom? Absolutely not.
I do have to give condoms credit though, specifically Trojan - their ads are pretty awesome in driving people to want to buy them.

Sometimes their ads will be like 'oh shit, that sounds ni- oh wait, it's a condom.'

Bareback, coming inside, every time. Why bother otherwise?
Pulling out feels plain terrible to the point where it ruins everything, for both of us, and she's on the pill anyways. Not that pulling out is such a great way of contraception to begin with...
Condoms are great as a placebo when having sex with a partner of unknown STI status, as they're hilariously unsafe. Safe sex = sex with a trustworthy, faithful partner known to be STI free, period.
that.
