Fantasy can Never beat Reality as it lacks Truth?

As our society creates more worlds for our minds to retreat to in times of bordem (and for other reasons ofc). I ask FAKKU! this.
Fantasy can Never beat Reality as it lacks Truth?

More Of A Statement Than A Question. I Believe You're Asking:
Can Reality Ever Be Beaten By Fantasy When Fantasy Itself Lacks Truth?
My Opinion - Limits!

Yes fantasy can beat reality,Fantasy also gives the hope that something more exists The one criticism fantasy seems to encounter is its standing in the real world. Fantasy lovers are often seen as dreamers who spend so much time in other worlds that they accomplish nothing in this one, that just my opinion any way just don't spend to much on that online game.

If that’s what you’re going on I'll say even reality lacks truth at times.
To really answer the question I will say yes it can because it can open you up to worlds you could never go to in reality.

As far as I can tell every fantasy has some amount of reality to it unless you get to the point of a chaos world where time & space don't even exist...and even then how would you be able to claim that it is not "beating" or "better" than reality?

This really sound like the ontological argument that some old geezer came up...I lol'd.
To discuss this seriously...I ask. Why must you suppose that being 'real', however you define 'real' to be, is greater than something that's just in mind? Hell, I might even ask how do you justify any existence is real at all...
To me, I just take the 2 as separate existence. No comparing which one's greater...just take whatever I can from both to further enrich my mind.

Fantasy has the potential to become reality; never forget that. What we fantasize in games may come true one day. There has to be a small amount of truth in every fantasy. So yes, fantasy can beat reality because it can become reality itself.

Fantasy is needed because Reality sucks.
I guess Fantasy isnt suppose to be compared to Reality because both factors co-exist each other in our lives, of being a human.
imo

I agree with this.
Fantasy beats reality easily. That's why i deep in my mind i think someday i will get supernatural powers and i can go slay off some peeps ^__^
So i say Fantasy>Reality

Let me blow your mind: What if this is fantasy? Flying machines, instant communication, nuclear bombs, video recordings, little devices that store information like music, videos, and communication devices like in your cell phone? That sounds like a crazy world to me.

Well fantasy in most cases is a more ideal image of what you'd like to see your reality be like.
However since fantasy has no real chance to become reality then fantasy is beaten by reality because of the fact that fantasy is incapable of realizing itself outside of the confines of your own mind. D=

Fantasy kicks ass. In the real world to me most people are bored and broken down and live only from paycheck to paycheck, trying to enjoy their uneventful lives (I'm sadly part of this group). Most people I know they just want to get a decent paying job and live comfortably.
In most fantasy the characters are driving by insane ideals and ambitions that are more or less impossible. They constantly say gibberish like, "we can't give up," or "I am going to save this world," or "I'm can't stop until I defeat my rival." People like that would be a lot more interesting to hang around.
Real life is boring to me no matter what I do. I just go to school, work and so on. I don't get to fight giant robots or zombies.

As was stated in South Park, as long as fantasy has touched you in one way or another it is real, these stories will be forever passed down from generation to generation and will forever be in there minds. The stories will outlive the tellers and creators. As long as fiction is existent, it is reality.
With the limits of science being boundless anything imaginable has the potential to be created someday. So to say something "lacks truth" is just saying "It lacks truth until it can be proven to be fallacy."
Also, could you not say that "if you touch is it not real?" so tell me, can't you touch the controller to your game station, is it not possible to touch a book, or in some morbid way, touch your brain?
Also, Never, Reality and Truth .... don't need to be capitalized =P

This reminds me of St. Alsem's ontological argument.
Not really related, I suppose.
As for which is better, fantasy or reality, it's a good argument to have. In a fantasy, you can do anything. Have sex with any person you want, in any environment you want, and do anything you want to him/her. But only in the real world can you actually touch another person and feel them touching you.
I think it's balanced. Fantasy is limitless, but reality is real. That said, if I had to choose between a fantasy pineapple and a real pineapple, I'm of course going to choose the real one.

Truth and realness are not the same thing (as the question would seem to imply). Hence, fantasy does not necessarily lack truth but rather realness.
So to answer your question, fantasy usually beats reality because it is fantasy.
And only reality is real, our perception thereof is not, even though it might be true.
In the end and as far as we as a perceiving individual are concerned, there is no difference between a well made illusion and reality.

Whether its minute details or central elements, there aren't many things that can be imagined that don't reflect some essence of truth that exists within the mind of the person creating it. Its also logical to say that fantasy, is true in and of itself, in the sense that it presents an alternative reality that can be observed. It might not function on the truths of the reality you're accustomed to, whatever they may be, but there is no denying that, upon observing something, you validate its existence.
Setting aside the philosophical bullshit, the allure of fantasy isn't necessarily the lack of truth. For the most part, people find an interest in fantasy because it takes them away from reality. True or not, everyday life pales in comparison to something different.
