Gas Prices

Lets do a survey of Gas Prices around the world. Tell the price of gas in your area and if you think it's fair or whatever no obligation for long explanation or personal opinion. I'll start.


I'm in Georgia of U.S.A and gas prices use to be on average $3.50. Recently gas prices have gone way down tho. I drove by a chevron and paused for a second to make sure i wasn't dreaming or imagining things. Gas was $1.55 for regular. That's the lowest gas has been for my area in a LONG time. I'm sure everyone in my area is jumping for joy at the low prices. I think $1.55 for regular ga is more then a fair price.

I live in Alaska.
Um. Gas is $2.64 for regular.
And $3.68 for diesel.

I live in New Jersey, but the lowest I've seen is around $1.50-1.60 range.

I think in Indonesia Gas has been a cheaper than other countries.

Premium (regular) = Rp 6000 - $ 0,50
Pertamax = Rp 7000 - $ 0,65?
Solar (Diesel) = Forgot about that since I use a regular car.

It's going lower and lower in the last month. And I think this price is fair, since the price has already received some cuts (forgot the english name), but still human is greedy, they still want it lower, without considering the effect of lowering it more.

Well, now $ 1.00 is around Rp 12.000 ,thanks to the recession.
And so Rp 6.000 = $ 0.50

Like I said in the past, if you want a vacation go here, it's a cheap bargain if you brought some dollars with you, and I think almost any currencies applies. :roll:

it is about $1.80~$2.15 over here in Texas.
yeah, soon the prices will soar at a high rate again and leave most of us finding it difficult to be able to pay. :\

as for ueda,nagano,japan(where i currently live now),it hovers around 4-4.20$ a gallon.

Yeah, they got tons of that stuff over there.

Last time I checked, petrol prices over here were at about the £1 (about $1.48 ) mark, though I think it's gone down to around about the 90p (about $1.46 )area now. Conversions done by google, so don't blame me if they are wrong.

I live in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia it's about $1.60 for regular as an average from what I've seen, Wawa's are usually the cheapiest. It's nice to pay only $23.00 for a tank instead of 50. Mou, I remember when it was under a dollar, ah god I'm old.

To stay in topic:
The government has lowered the price again to Rp 5.500. It's getting cheaper and cheaper.

I don't own a car, but a quick research on our local prices tells me it's somewhere around 4.15€ per gallon in Vienna. As expected.

Live in the same area. I think the WaWa in York County is the cheapest...everything. Cheapest cigarettes I can find, almost as cheap as military liquer stores. And gas too. Not sure why.
