Gas Prices

Super Bleifrei(don´t know what the name is in america but I guess you could say that it is comparable with regular gas) = 1.15 €/liter
diesel = 1.10 €/liter
and per gallon it´s like 3.78541178 time the price from above.
thats how the price is in germany per liter and so a month cost me something like 30 €.

On the east side of Oregon, USA; gas is around 1.82 Reg. and 2 for premium... Crazy because just a few months ago it was almost 4 bucks a gallon. Not that I'm complaining tho!

the cheveron at the corner is $2.02 a gallon for regular diesel was like $1.70
I find that incredibly odd since Diesel requires a lot more refining which increases the cost. Since the new environmental standards were put into place for diesel emissions I haven't seen diesel priced lower than unleaded gasoline.
On a side note: I'm also amazed that so many countries also used gallons. Unless people are being nice and making the conversion from liters to gallons for those of us who don't know.

That's what I've noticed too, diesel is not cheaper than unleaded.
$1.70 for diesel?

When I bought my car, gas prices were $3.50 a gallon at their cheapest. I didn't start driving it, however, until recently (October). The last time I filled her up, I payed $1.71 a gallon. I'm glad that it's going down, but I'm not really "satisfied" and probably won't be until it drops to around a dollar- say $1.15 or so. I know that it's improbable, but still I can't help letting go of my meager little crumb of hope.

Anybody notice how the OPEC nations now say that $75 a barrel is a "fair" price when only a few months ago they said $147 a barrel for oil was "fair".
Hopefully, we won't go back to sleep and allow these countries to start charging us those same prices again.

Heh, yeah I can agree with you there. I like the direction we're going now, no need for the oil companies to make record breaking profits again...

The government has lowered the price again to Rp 5.500. It's getting cheaper and cheaper.
And getting more cheaper.. Rp 5.000. this morning.
I think, this is a part of Mr.Presiden's strategy. He lowered the price so he can be elected again at next year?

Yeah, just read it in the newspaper today.
Strategy or not, I might pick him again, since other candidates have proven there selves unworthy and some are inexperienced.
He's done more positive things than our ex-presidents after the late Soeharto.
