Agreed. I have 2 gay employees and some of my really good costumers in my store are gays. I always told my employees that I don't mind them dressing up like girls but I warned them not to make it to vulgar coz twice they went to work 1 of them was wearing a really short shorts and I can see the G-strings and I almost puke from that really awful sight. I warned him that if he does that again I would happily fire his ass with a panzer punch on the side.

The way I learned it, the only reason males have mammary glands is because of the first x chromosome all humans share. (The zygote/fetus follows the genetic information from the primary x chromosome before the SRY gene from the y chromosome turns on androgen production, etc etc, leading to a male.) It makes sense that some guys can lactate, though. It's probably because their SRY kicked in a little later than guys who can't. *shrug* That's just a guess though. [Sorry about being off-topic; my inner nerd was intrigued.]

I'm an open-minded mostly-straight female. I'm fine with homosexuals. I've met both gays and lesbians that I'm good friends with, and seeing any of them kiss their S.O.'s doesn't bother me. That said I find yaoi a bit hotter than yuri, but it makes sense I think--I'm more attracted to males than I am to females.

@softbanker Normal is subjective. Norms are different from place to place whether it's different continents (Asia & America, for one) or just regions in the same country (New England vs the southern East Coast). I'm not saying it to be argumentative, just stating it as a fact. It's something you learn the first day of Sociology 101, if nothing else.

I'm a heterosexual female and I have no problem with homosexuals. Although I rather dislike Yaoi while I do enjoy Yuri, in real life I am only interested in a man's touch. I don't see why their choices should be regulated by the State, for unlike drugs, it has literally no outward effect on the rest of the populace. Granted, we all acknowledge that is from the vice hold religion plays on our governing groups, but that is another discussion.

I prefer not to define people by their sexual preferences, but by the people they are.

First of all, no I don't mind homosexuals. I don't mind if they kiss their partners, hug each other etc in public as heck, normal couples tend to do that aswell. As long as you keep whats private in heterosexual pairs private in a homosexual pair, I don't see anything wrong with it.
Regarding "normality" I am not going to go there. There is no normality once hormones of any kind kick in, be it between heterosexuals, homosexuals, animals or even that priest around the corner pretending to be a saint.

Just felt like chipping in two cents on this. How come none of the people arguing with softbanker have yet to argue that the idea of "normal" is subjective and changes every generation?

It's up to every individual to decide if they want to be gay or lesbian. Simple as that.
And really, all the religious bullshit around it doesn't make sense whatsoever and is based on personal morals.

If you find it disguising or unpleasant is something else. I personally haven't got any problems with it, although I sometimes pull a 'do not want' face when I see 2 guys with each other. No offense to them though, it's just how I react unconsciously.

So yeah, I'm male, and I really think gays and lesbians should do whatever the fuck they want, as long as it's in a country that lets them do whatever the fuck they want, and/or isn't run by Nazis. Personally, I have nothing against gays or lesbians. As a guy, I am disgusted by gay relationships, but I respect it entirely. In fact, I am starting to SUPPORT them ever since I discovered the Westboro Baptist Church, for the epic lolz and trolling. Lesbians, well that's kinda a given... unless you're some fat chick. anyways, I didn't bring up the "norms are subjective" argument personally because he mentioned that he didn't mean social norms, he meant evolutionary purpose of organs. and meant that using organs outside of their evolutionary purpose was somehow wrong. and even giving him the argument that norms are set in stone, i intended on proving my point. of course, when it comes to evolution, use defines purpose, not the other way around. evolution is to adapt to the environment around it, including it's use. for instance, we were stubborn to stand up, and so we did. our body evolved to compensate our constant "misuse" of our bodies. if we never challenged our bodies, changed the environment somehow, there wouldn't be as much bio-diversity. and ecosystems thrive on bio-diversity.

this is where i go off on a tangent and say that, by challenging "proper use", gay and lesbians might effectively be starting a chian of evolutionary events that will increase biodiversity and thus benefit the ecosystem. obviously i'm not serious with this argument, but it's worth thinking about for a moment, eh?

Also, kuroneko1/2, i don't condemn incest but there is a biological reason against it too. if a brother and sister reproduce, the child will have a high risk of congenital birth defects. the thing is for proper reproduction the genetic codes of the parents must be different by a large enough margin. again, biodiversity comes into play. I imagine there is someone here who knows more about the subject who could fill in the blanks; biology and sexuality are not my area of study.

The reason why I mentioned incest was because softbanker was going on and on about how "unnatural" it is for a couple of the same sex to have sex. So I proposed a case in which there isn't homosexuality involved to see if he found it unnatural or not, and that's when he brought up God and the bible. And then I realised, the dude is a bible nazi.
