Can someone summarize the reason why Greece is going bankrupt right now?Massive welfare benefits for pretty much anyone who asked and extreme resistance to austerity measures.

I laughed my ass off when I saw the tax ceiling at 250,000K Euros.
Never knew that the situation was this terrible at Greece. Government inefficiency at its worst...

Is religion something that's enforced into you?
Being born into a family of Buddhist, i am, yet regard myself not a person who'd worship and respect and entity my family has did for generations.
Questions did rise upon me as to my rebellious nature for which i can only answers, must i?
A religion provides spiritual peace. Not a set of rules that will guarantee a seat in somewhere above the clouds or 10 thousand miles below the earth's crust. I choose to believe what i believe in, does that make me a heretic?
No. In fact, i feel pretty proud of myself being able to be outside the circle.
Living with superstition, believing in something that cannot be explained...that just isn't the way to go (for me at least).
As of now, i'm pretty content running myself by the set of rules governed by me alone. I'll live for those that i deem worthy of, Eat heartily, Laugh as loudly as possible and grief when sadden.
Religion isn't meant to bind you.

Ironically, despite all the that i wrote, i'm quite a fan of warhammer 40k.

Religious institutions should pay taxes. If they don't, then I shall make my own religious institution. I will call it LOL-ICON. And we shall worship 2D girls only.

I suppose the church should pay taxes if they actually have some money to lend. But of course situation could be worse, I mean in Finland it's the church who is taxing the members of the church...

I don't think they should pay taxes, they're not in it for the money, but they should be controlled for fraud, as a non-profitable organization it should show how all the money it recieved has been invested, as every non-profitable organization.
