The average adult body fat is closer to 15 to 18% for men and 22 to 25% for women.

Penguin is right, the point to realize you weigh too much is when you can no longer perform simple tasks that you used to be able to do. - If you can no longer dial a phone without some sort of wand.
- If even turning sideways only barely gets you through doors anymore.
- If you get stuck in seats.
- If you find yourself too lazy to stand up to get more food. (Then you know you really have a problem)
- If moving around has ever resulted in collateral damage.
Well, those are just a few examples. Mostly you should just do what you want, but if you can't manage your own life anymore to the point where others have to help you, than you have a problem.

Nothing wrong with being a little fat or chubby, if your around 10-30 pounds off your Height to Weight Ratio, ok whatever, it's like oh your pretty normal, a little working wouldn't hurt. One guy i knew shocked me, he looked fat or for some reason a little chubby, saw him bench press 350, boom he has hidden muscle under his skin. But i draw the line at the point where you can's see your feet anymore and cant make a 90 degree angle anymore.
