Is overkill always really necessary?

In monster hunter, I keep hammering the enemies dead for the remaining minute before going back to town. I dunno why, maybe because the itch to kill is still there.

When I was in elementary school, I was happily eating my favorite food (beef bowl) when a bully turned the table and spilled the food all over me. I was the nerdy guy that time, and I was surprised the moment the surge of rage left me, I saw everybody standing, jaws dropped, and I was above the bully, bloody in the mouth. Somebody pulled me away and I saw this girl trying to get the fork away from the scene. I mean, dude, the bully was crying. And that was the guy who kept making dotty nipples on my drawings. I really hate it when someone mess with my artworks.

Really, its not the matter of whether its necessary or not, but rather is overkill is stoppable or not when your really in the zone to kill.

overkill is different...

Sadistic killing is where you let him suffer 'slowly' and then afterwards kill him while overkill is when the person is dead, you either gun or stab the fuck out of the corpse some more...

Overkill can be acceptable, especially if you want to eliminate your opponent at 100%

well it all depends on the situation and factors around it... but if it was me who has not entered berserker mode then Overkill is not an option... when they are down and unable to fight then that's enough.. no point trying to waste energy on something that can' fight anymore... if they come back stronger than ever then i'll just beat the hell out of them again cause i'm sure I would have grown stronger as well

but if I am on berserker mode then overkill is my only option... I don't care if he's dead and im still beating his corpse by then if he did something to put make me berserk then he probably deserved it...

WtF?! Thats really wrong... If my gun otaku memory serves me correctly, thats an AGL-42 six chambered nade launcher... If a .50BMG doesnt already give problems, a 40mm would...

I'm Pro Overkill.

I think people overkill because,

1. It's funny
2. They're scared and they don't know they're own strength
3. It's to make sure they're dead
4. They are not satisfied seeing them dead(ex; Stalin)
5. It's to show their penis is bigger than yours
