Liberal or Conservative

I think that i'm liberal. I'd say that because i'm a selfish guy. I would appreciate it if the govt can relax the immigration policy so that immigrants with college degree or potential can be awarded green card quickly.
I would also like it if the federal/state govt to tax weed, because it will be interesting to see what happens; wouldn't happen for a while since the pharmaceutical companies will lose a lot of profit, hehe.
Also, affordable healthcare system for everyone sounds good; compared to S. Korea, the health care in the U.S. is literally f-ed up.

I'm more of a realist.
I look up at the situation first, then make my decision based on the current situation.

I am a moderate, in the purest sense. I care neither for the democrats, nor the republicans, and trust no one with a political background that can't listen to an argument. Think for yourself, and take action after you've weighed the consequences. Precisely. I would end-up a net moderate. I dislike fanaticism in most forms and think it's unproductive to get into an us-v-them mindset in politics.

Hmm, I've noticed that people in this thread are defining "conservative" and "liberal" differently.
I consider myself a Classical Liberal, but I'll deal with "conservative" if it means I am understood better. I am very pro-gun, and will be getting myself a Class A license as soon as I am old enough (MA laws are dumb, I'm a full adult at 18 BUT I can't have a high-capacity firearm or drink for three years after that...). Abortion I am not a fan of, but when it comes down to it I can't justify making it illegal, especially because the best arguments against are straight out of Catholic doctrine. Atheist, fiscal conservative, pro-war but against Iraq, supporter of Ron Paul, &c.
In other words enough views to make anyone mad.

In my opinion i don't believe any political party or affiliation is better than the other. I also would say that politics should not be anywhere near government either. I think that political parties force government candidates to revise their opinions to their form of thinking so that they can be known to the public. I believe that if political parties did not exist than maybe candidates would have some type of backbone and run on what they believe is right and not on what their political "friends" say is right (You hear me Republicans and Democrats!!!!). Unfortunately attempting to remove any political party would be illegal in this country

I'm conservative, but I think moderation is the key to everything and that a leader or political party shouldn't be bound by a single ideology (conservatism is not an ideology, btw). Do what's good for the current situation, not what best suits your little made up world. And I'm conservative because I think western culture has flipped out a little too much. There's almost no national unity left and all this cultural marxism is destroying our nations. I also think that individual liberty is important, but that rights come with responibility, so to say. Rights are not God-given, they are earned.
So yeah, in conclusion: I guess I'm a mix of both. Walks hand in hand with my "moderation is the key"-statement now that I think about it.
