People Who Inspired You

Hm... I would really not be able to put exact fingers on everyone who had an influence on my life, because that's about everyone I've ever known, but I notice that when I'm tired or unmotivated to continue on a physical task or a journey or something that the thought of Kamina can always gives me that extra burst of energy I needed.
Now I think about it, my oldest sister's ex-boyfriend also inspired me to put some thought into hygiene, fashion and health.

Tesla died poor, mor like rags to riches back to rags.
As for me it's kinda hard to say, I lack modivation and ran away from home at the age of 16 and never looked back. To this day I haven't talked toy family in 7 years. My insperation to get trough the day I always think of the blues guitarist/folk guitarist "Leadbelly" when I'm having a real shit day I'm always think "leadbelly had it worse". Don't know why I think of him, I did a report about him in 7th grade, I remember we had to pick an artist, kurt cobain was taken and I know leadbelly was his favorite artist so I chose him. As far as role models none. Like I said I always have and will lack modivation. Inb4lolpothead because I startedsmoking when I was 19.

I Look Up To Poets Such As William Shakespeare And Edgar Allan Poe For Inspirations. Dunno Why, But Whenever Im Stuck I Know That They Found A Way Out Of This, So I Shall Too. That Is Whenever Im Writing Poems Or Stories.

All of these famous historical figures are great, but does anyone have an inspiration which is personally connected to them?

My grandfather, and particularly his death, inspired me. He was an awesome guy when he was alive, and he taught me a lot. But when I realized that I wouldn't be able to learn more from him, I took it upon myself to learn things that he couldn't teach me any more.

We are all the sum of our experiences. But no one has inspired me, ever. And I have a severe lack of inspiration/motivation to prove it.
Not wanting to be poor inspires me to wake my ass up every morning and drag myself to work. That's about it.

Hands down my principal in high school his name was Charle Spissato. The guy was a saint and I was um...quite an asshole. But he was without a dout the most patient, self sacraficing person I've ever met. If It weren't for him, i'd never have seen the good in mankind. Its a shame i didnt realize the lessons he tried to teach me until years later but hell, you live you learn.

[size=10]Isaac Asimov. He gets my imagination flowing with so many different outcomes. Although not a person... Science inspires me too.[/h]

I really can't say that I've been truly inspired by anyone. How can anyone be inspired by someone who's achievements exist only as a historical record? Those who exist as significant figures in history are just that. They are footnotes to the next figure that steps up and makes a name for him/herself. What honor exists for those who have died and faded into the early pages of a history book? Alexander the Great is looked upon as a great figure for his time, but he died and everything he accomplished went to shit. Even Jesus died and his disciples took what they wanted from his teachings and warped them to satisfy their perceptions of how things should be.
If anything, I look at history and try not to be what anyone else was. If I'm gonna be anything or do something, I don't want to walk in the footsteps of those who have failed. The only way to pave a true future is to look at the past, realize where the influential figures of those times fucked up, and make your own way. People say that the best one can do is impact the world in which they live, but that's bullshit. Unless you're impact reverberates through the course of time, you've done nothing.

Well, me, just going through with common desires is alright. But that ain't easy I think. There was this imitator and the adoptive, I suppose I just adopt what's good from historical people who are inspiring and add it to my knowledge or behavior. I guess it's knowledge and behavior is most easy to pass while body is stuck to specific lineages.

From a musical point... Jimi Hendrix, Billie Cox, Greg Lake, Tom Vanlaer... (nobody here has ever heard of the latter 3, I suppose)
On a political and personal level, Kropotkin, Bakunin, George Orwell, Gandhi, the Persona series (no shit!). Really opened my mind on how I view people and changed me to the better... reflecting my own actions like I never did before.

I guess the person who inspired me the most in my life is my brother who i always hated with all my heart?(i'm not sure if i can call that inspiration?)anyways. I hated my brother so so much that i (most of the time)(unconciously, or not) took the liking of things completely opposite of whatever he liked. He was a slob who didn't study and/or work for the benefit of his future. While i in return turned out just the opposite.
