[Locked] Respect for others (beliefs, lifestyle etc)

I do have an idea of how insane the logic is, which is why I find this idea ridiculous myself, even though everybody believes it is like that. ( I personally don't believe it)

Within every religious group, there will be psychotic dicks, for psychotic dicks exist regardless of their surroundings due their status as psychotic dicks.

I personally place myself as an agnostic if I had to label it. I believe that that there is something more and it may or may not have a plan for us but no one will ever know what that is until they pass on. There is no proof to any of the claims that religions make such as "The Bible is the one and only truth." Even though this can't be proven I respect people who believe it, not for the sake of zealotry but to find something to believe in so that they can better themselves.

If a serial killer finds god in prison and is released on parole and cleans up his life, then more power to him for finding the thing that he needed to believe in. If more people could believe and not forsake the values by casting out every person who isn't a part of their religion the world would be a truly better place.

That all being said, there are no winners or losers in any argument about religion or politics since they are matters of opinion and have no factual basis. As I have told many people it is all how you perceive something rather than how it is supposed to be perceived.

I have always believed there was a black sheep under the whites ones.

For me Islam is the one and true religion, but that doesn't make me wanna attack others just because they believe Christianity and other religions are the true ones.

It really is a case of what YOU believe in is what YOU think really is. No one has the rights to force you to think what you believe in is wrong.

The most important thing under all religions is that what we all want, peace, and I think we all should pursue that goal as human beings and not as religious followers.

It feels like some people here are classifying atheist as a religion. it is the the opposite of religion. it is a complete lack of a dogma based belief system.

I don't like to mention stuff like this, but it isn't just the public who hates one another based on religious belief, there are also the media encouraging people to target a religious group. I find that very disturbing, I mean look at how the media put the Muslims in a position, the people believed it IS really the case that one mans actions lead to everyone hating the religion Osama or Saddam believed in.

There are so many comments, speeches videos, and other articles regarding the discrimination of a religious group. We know people can get influenced by this sort of stuff, but I never thought it would that far.

Take a look at Lady Gaga, didn't she challenge Christianity by singing she loves Judas and how she dissed the pope. Bush constantly saying Muslims are terrorists so watch out for them, and how some Atheists say these people who believe in a deity so called God are stupid. THE MESSAGES ARE RIGHT THERE UNDER OUR NOSES.

So we can't just look at a small picture here, we have to look at the whole world.

How can the people start opening up and accept and co-exist with other religious groups when the threat of bias, hatred and discrimination starts right at our home, TELEVISION. Yes, media entertainment are a good thing, but it can also be a weapon used to manipulate other people if used correctly.


Many people don't admit it, but all the hate and bias comes from what they believe to hear, see and obtain information ( False/correct) from television/internet/articles/newspapers and such.
