It isn't considered a "draft" till you go to war. Though you do have to sign up for it the likely hood of anyone actually being called into the line of duty is very slim. It is also a lotter so the chances of you getting called are fairly slim.

Now I hope they have a draft next year, lol. Thanks for that bit of info, that's pretty interesting though it does make sense. Wouldn't be surprised to see that age go from 26 to 30 or something in the future though.
