Suicide pills okay or no?

Oh my god all of you missed the point, yes there are plenty of meds and when you take too many of them you can die yadayadayada. But the thing is maybe you will end up in coma/have serious brain damage which is much more painful than being dead. That's why I even suggested this a certain pill that will kill you 100% without any pain.

The only dissadvantage is that it kills you 100% because of that the emo tipes mentioned above will want to take it.
The difference betwen your pill and an overdose is that and i repeat after you "you will end up in coma/have serious brain damage " because of that the kids at a subconstient side are afraid of not dieing and sending their life in a long countoun to death

Yes, we should have those, in teeth form, so that when aliens come and abduct me, they can experiment on me without me feeling the pain.

We don't need pills, there are many ways you can make very fast acting poison from regular household chemicals. There's also the car method, as long as you have an older car, it's pretty easy to kill yourself with carbon monoxide poisoning, which is painless as well.



If you're thinking of killing yourself, you're not sane at all. Being sane means you have a healthy mental condition which I'm fairly doesn't include having suicidal thoughts.

Offing yourself is already far too easy for someone who really wants to go. Suicide pills would never be sanctioned by most governments anyways.

I'm with shaggs on this one. Natural selection. I'm all for those willingly voting themselves out of the genepool.

Though Sam brings up a point about how over the counter options can be used as a murder tool. So a tiny bit of regulation could be used to ensure those who purchase the pill are the ones who swallow it. Possibly going to a hospital to take such a pill in front of a doctor or R.N.

While suicide is a horrible and selfish thing, I don't believe it's the responsibility of any person or organization to stop a person from doing something with their own body. To me, it's all about consent whether it be drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, or whatever poison you can imagine.

I agree on suicide pills.

I don't agree on taking one's life but if there existed no other option, then suicide pills would be a perfectly painless way to exit this world.

I remember a time when I was suicidal (late teens). I tried drowning, hanging, overdosing on varied pills and anything else that would leave my body intact. I obviously failed each attempt but have suffered physical and emotional scars. All the time I was wishing that I could just get my hands on a bottle of barbiturate.

Though, that was a few years ago and I'm glad that I didn't succeed in any of my suicidal attempts, at the time, I wished there was an easier way to exit this world.

For the truly pained souls, I would agree on suicide pills.

If people really want to end their lives, it's their choice. And might as well make a tidy (but small) profit off of it.

I never really understood people who try to prevent people from suicide when the person truly wants to. Go ahead and ban pills and make there death even more painful when they decide to jump off a bridge

Suicide pills are without HONOR! If you don't have a sword to cut your belly open, take a bullet to the head, or an explosive, or eventually even a rope.

True but that is not always the case, what if they can't change it e.g terminal illness etc.
But I feel that suicide is NEVER the answer for anything.

I only agree to the suicide pills for reasons like.
You have an illness or disease and you will not survive the next 6 months and you will be in immense pain during all of this.
I think, if that person wants to not go through that pain and just die. I think it should be allowed.

Suicide is SUICIDE, no matter what form it is. and the answer is NO.

A pill with a 100% kill rate? That sounds more like a weapon...

I agree. If someone is really ill and don´t want to live with those pains while he/she knows that he/she will die sooner or later, then in my eyes its ok to take something like that.
