Thinking about it, my name here is a bit long huh. I wonder if I can change it. But I guess thats off topic. Well, have to go old man, see you.

Sloth too isnt just about doing nothing

I'm thinking of opening a new serious discussion topic focusing on what one thinks are luxuries and entitlements. An example being how i think the ability to rest when one is sick is a luxury(not requirement) of a good(healthy) society some other examples are being able to play and even the ability to rest every 24 hours(once in every 24 hours). Everything not required for ones body to run(no mater the state that body is running in), to me are luxuries. Now i ask you or anyone who reads this if you think this would make a good topic?

"Captain, do you know what your sin is?"
"Hell, I'm a fan of all seven!"
*ahem* A quote from one of my favorite movies of all time, but one that is relevant nonetheless. There is not one of the sins which is more particularly inherent in myself than the others, that is to say all have equal footing in whom I have become today. I'm lazy, I can be greedy, I am a glutton, I have overwhelming pride in certain aspects, I feel jealousy, and I sway to lust.
"But right now? I'd have to go with wrath!"
That is how the quote ends, and coincidentally enough, wrath, if any, is probably the most dominant of the seven deadlies that I'm a carrier of.
Indeed, anything with debatable subject matter can be made into a good topic in Serious Discussion. On that topic, however, the two main standing points will be minimalists VS human rights--the people who take a luxury as things that are literally not necessary (yourself, with respect) VS people who believe as human beings we are entitled to certain unalienable rights as they are called. (Example, the drafters of the Constitution and the forefathers of America.)
I myself stand at the latter end of the spectrum, but will not elaborate due to the irrelevant nature of this particular topic in the current thread.
