What's keeping you alive?

I've already planned my death if a certain thing happens to me, so I'm not all that worried about that kind of thing. As for what's keeping me alive, I'd like to hope that I'll someday find someone (which won't happen, most likely,) I'm not going ANYWHERE until I play the new WarioWare game (in English,) and I have a dog that I can't leave. He'd get bored without barking in my ear and annoying the hell out of me.

Family, friends, etc. etc. All that good crap. Also ...

I figure, on account of that, what with life more or less being an intermission in your non-existence, I shouldn't be in all too much of a hurry to end it. Nothingness doesn't really interest me.

Well I, for one, am not in too much of a hurry to find out the perspective from which non-existence is viewed. I mean, when the waking mind is lost, the person is lost. I don't know what could make someone wish that on themselves

I live because I want to find someone, someday (Probably will happen in some time, because I'm actually taking care of myself now.)
Also, I HAVE to see what happens in 2012, I've already got a MASSIVE shenanigan planned for the 21st of december!
Also, how am I going to fap when I'm dead? (j/k)
And lastly, I'm too lazy to commit suicide, and don't have any reason to do so, hell, I'll die anyway, without doing anything for it, so why bother gathering a rope/gun+bullet/slit my wrist?

Wow, when i was at my most darkest hour, and contemplating suicide, you just saved me with your enlightment about the universe.

Proberly me still not getting myself laid with my dream lady and not fulfilling my goal of being a outstanding animator.

The only thing keeping me alive is my search to find something to live for. I'm not actively searching for it since I think these things should come naturally. Oh well, cheers to any other blokes searching for their reason to get up. Other than that I'm just gunna let that timer on my life tick cause its fun letting the time go by :).

I notice that alot of people list someone else as their reason to live. That kinda makes sense, seeing as how the second response is "eh, i dunno. I just am alive." Life is not worth living without someone else it seems.

Nothing much really. I mean, I don't really have any particular goal in my life, but I don't have any reason to go kill myself either. I just kinda exist and do whatever strikes my fancy. I guess you could say I live from moment to moment.

Well humans can only live so long without outside contact. Besides, only living for yourself mostly ends up in backstabbing and other roundabout tactics that will only lose you friends and compatriots.

I live for myself. Yes i know it sounds narcissistic, but i do. I live knowing that i have one thing in my life that i have complete control over, and that no one can take from me (unless they kill me that is).

I live for my friends. Even if I may be a jackass at times, if I can help one person with their problems, then I will feel accomplished, especially if it save a life.

I live for my family. No matter how much they piss me of, they're always going to be their for me, even when my friends aren't.

I live for my dreams. I dream of being a teacher one day and teaching kids about how amazing computer are, and that they aren't just for gaming, social networking, or porn, that they can be used to change the world. I also dream of one day seeing my name on the silver screen. Even if its just a walk on role that I'm credited for, that will be amazing for me.

I live for my country. I haven't decided if i will serve in the military or not, but even if I don't, I try to help out so that this country continues to be as great as it is today, and hopefully get us to the great nation we were in the golden days.

And last but not least, I live for computers. If it wasn't for the internet, my addiction to anime and computer gaming, I wouldn't be as awesome of a person as I am today.

tl;dr I have to many things to lose if I were to off myself.

by the end of March will be launching the Close Beta in our School but i need some Sponsor so we can Publish the Open Beta.
