The Forgotten Faggot
Ive been thinking for a while about something now. I still cant really come up with a solid answer.
Is it really necessary to bury or burn those lost to us after such a long and tiresome journey through life?

Yes. Dead bodies have to be disposed of somehow, and burying/burning works well unless you're into soylent green. Without proper disposal, dead bodies become a source of various diseases as they rot in the open. Just imagine the flies, maggots, and other insects milling around, not to mention other scavengers like vultures and wolves.

In Soviet Russia Dead Bury you!
But is this really a serious question? I mean..... it's just plain logical to get rid of dead people. Though then again if the world actually did what was logical it would be a much better place.

When i die, i want a cellphone or some kind of connection to the outside world with me. Just in case....If some how i miraculously revive....Cause it'd suck if i die again being stuck in a coffin.

Burying shit is just a way of getting it out of sight. Funerals on the other hand, I think are a stupid ritual. Shit costs too much too. When I die I want my body blown to pieces or donated to science. Anything that doesn't cost my family a fucking dime.

When I die I will be cremated, placed in a steel locked box which will then be bolted to a pedestal within a small hidden room within my home. I may die but I earned my house and I'm keeping it dammit.

I used to have the idea that if I died my body should be handled in a very certain way, especially after I read something that said that if you're an organ donor and you die in a way where they can salvage your organs, they basically gotta pick you apart really quick like a fat guy at the buffet. I thought anything but normal burial would be undignified. But as I thought about it more, I realized that once you're dead, by definition you really can't care about anything at all anymore. Your consciousness is gone and it's irreversible. No matter what you do, once you die your body is going to be this rapidly decaying piece of meat that you can't ever use again. If there's anybody around to deal with me after I kick off, they should just fry me up. It'll make no difference to me. I'm not even sure I'd want a grave, since it would just be a financial burden on whoever's left to take care of that stuff.

Be it from being buried or cremated we are going to disappear evntually. In my opinion, I think being buried is an honorable way of laying someone to rest after their long hard life. Also, if we don't get buried or burned we'll just sit there rotting in front of everybody...

Curious and Wondering
It's logical to bury our bodies after death. Our bodies decompose and slowly start to rot after death, so it's a perfectly sanitary measure to bury the body so as the earth speeds up the decomposition process and helps prevent possible health complications that a rotting body could provide.

I'd prefer my remains be burned or donated for science than just to be thrown into a hole. We are running out of places to bury our dead and caskets are becoming so expensive that people have trouble affording them to begin with. And funerals are getting to costly as well.

Imagine if we humanity had kept every single body since man started. There's no point other than for the sake of science and stuff. Besides, our body to supposed to do that.
Yeah, this is what I want to happen to my body when I die.

Cremation and burial, are not just rituals, they also serve as a means to cleanly dispose of a body.
Of course, if you're dissatisfied with the usual methods, you could ask to be buried under a tree where your body would serve as a fertilizer, or try paying 9K dollars to have one gram of your ahes,
shot into space.
I swear, people keep getting more and more creative every day.

Yeah, pretty much.
Without burial, the cycle of decomposition will have a hard start. Plus sanitation and to calm the fears of everyone that the dead will return as zombies.
I'm not against cremation, but I prefer a proper burial so at least this useless shell will at least help in the cycle of life.

well what would you suggjest that we do with the bodies of the dead ones?
Eat?, Create Items out of them?, Sleep with them? what should we do with the deceased?
I would bury or burn the MoFo's so i dont have to worry about zombiez and shit.

Woops I think I was misunderstood.
I meant more along the lines of funerals and keeping the ashes of a dead loved one.
And even still, there are other more useful ways to get rid of dead bodies, but I dont see what Im thinking of ever happening. A hint would be Vultures.
