Would you give up your life as a human, to be an animal?
0
I won't give up my life as human to be an animal, so the answer is no.
Reason :
I enjoy My life now as human, like the others have mentioned : browsing internet, FAKKU!, games, friends, etc. And being animals have their own problems to be taken care of too (i.e : predator, food, environment)
Let just say my prime reason is: I don't want to exchange difficulties of being human with difficulties of being animals. Animals have their own hard-time too just like humans, so in my opinion the difference for human and animal wouldn't be that big (in term of emotional/inner/mentality problems)
And I have one more thinking here...if you could swap or change between human and animal form, does that mean it would be more bother? I mean...if you can change to...example werewolf, you'll have fleas and need extra treatment lol.

yes, you're correct a furry just posted here :)
like i said before i prefer to stay human so i can enjoy being a furry instead of the later(animals can't become furry cause they're already cover in fur...most of them, it defy s the point of being one).
so bye.

Definitely NO, no way i'm giving up my life to become animals. such a waste to give your humanity and for what? become animal?! become someones food on the diner table or become a trophy on someones wall.
personally i enjoy my life as human. and there is not F**king way i'm wasting it to for this.

On one hand, life as an animal would be so much simpler than life as a human. Animals don't have to have a job, they don't need girlfriends (they just mate as they go) they don't have to worry about that Lion from across the savanna being a jerk to the Crocs down in the river, and if your a horse you can bang as many chicks from Brazil as you like.
On the other hand, humans get the most out of life. We have porn (we are even nice enough to put a few animals in it) we create endless amounts of amusing drama, duty free sex, shoot guns, and the internet
It's a tough choice, I can't decide right now.

Nope, animals don't understand the concept of music, and since that's one of the 3 main things that keeps me interested in living, I'd pass.

Glad you pointed out this: "like the others have mentioned : browsing internet, FAKKU!, games, friends, etc." It's nice to know that some users actually read other user's replies instead of posting the same thing, because they didn't.
But about what you actually wrote, taking care of yourself as an animal could be pretty difficult. And yeah animal issues such as ticks would definitely suck. Haha. A lot. And yeah, it seems animals just aren't (and probably never will be) as capable as humans.
@P=mangakaL!
Lol that's true. As a human you'll always be able to have that desire to be a furry. And once you become one, there's not much else you can ask for. It seems, though, that maybe.. just maybe you'd be happy as a furry.
Haha, anyway thanks again for posting.
@orpheus
To me, that's one of the main reasons not to be an animal. Becoming one is basically like becoming someone's food or someone's slave who is usually rarely fed and taken care of like human children are.
Glad you can agree with me. Thanks for answering.
@Oneshot: Looking at it that way, it is pretty hard to make a choice. However, the idea of knowing that animals are much more likely to be slaughtered and eaten than humans is reason enough for me.. not to switch. And even if they aren't killed, there are always those who abuse animals. And even being a furry and not a full animal, I think you'd become a social outcast. So yeah, not the path for me.
But hey, if you give it more thought you may find your answer. I enjoyed your post and thank you for answering!
@jmason: That life probably does become much more boring and repetitive than that of a human. Not much that you're able to do. Thanks for answering.
@Dirty: Haha, so music is something that keeps you going, cool. And thanks for the answer.
IF YOU EVER FIND YOURSELF THINKING LIFE SUCKS, BE GLAD THAT YOU CAN SAY TO YOURSELF: "AT LEAST I'M NOT AN ANIMAL." (food for others, often neglected and low on the social hierarchy)

I didn't exactly read through all the replies, but I will do so eventually, though I am somewhat confused by the question posed.
Aren't human beings essentially animals, since we fall under the subset of mammals, which in turn, belongs to the bigger category of "animals"?

Lol, I had a feeling that question might come up and intended to cover it but forgot about it. I do know we can be considered animals**, and to some extent, we are. However, I was separating humans from other species.
And the question was basically.. would you give up on being a human, if it meant you could wake up one day as whatever animal it is that you may wish to be (humans aside) (Nekos, dogs, "furries", cats, and all else included)?

Well, animals can still get to fuck beautiful sexy girls and like it while I never done it.... But still, that's uncommon. Obviously, it's more fun to be a human.

@mangakaL!
Lol Furry, to me can apply to a mix breed between human/animal, a fetish or a person with the fetish. That's all.
@Gentlepervert: Yes. But as you said that's uncommon. So uncommon.
And being a human probably is, indeed, much more "fun".

Humans are too complicated. I'd prefer the mind of a beast, one with the simpler matters like food or sleep.

Yes, it does mean laugh out loud. It indicates that her person laughed, even if the laugh isn't always genuine (real). And I don't mind your post. They're no problem to me.

Well thanks for posting. I suppose that explains things, giving one perspective, in few words.

Sure. I won't mind being half human and half animal. Since if your half human you could retain your memory as when you were once full human.(if human side is more leaning towards the brain). i also won't mind the decent amount of fur(i love extreme heat and warmth) Or wings/doggy ears/ Tail. My instinct would probably be boosted by whatever i am.(Dog,cat and etc). i would still have thumbs and look human like since im half human(right?). so... If all my conditions are met then sure, i won't mind being one. Unless.... i am the only being on Earth thats looks like that. Then i would probably say no, since ill most likely draw unwanted attention and then my life will go straight down because of scientists or Crazies trying to catch me?

I'd consider a person who wants to give up life as a human and become an animal as mentally disturbed. Not full-on crazy, but needs some help.
It indicates that the person wants to escape, sort of like how some people want to act like children despite being fully-grown adults. The person is either misunderstood by others or ostracized or simply doesn't want to handle the responsibilities that come with being a person. (Those aren't the only possible reasons, just some examples.) What better way to escape than to become an animal? It's better than suicide, because you'd still be alive, and you'd be able to enjoy the basic pleasures of living, such as eating and sleeping and having sex. And you wouldn't have to have a job or pay bills or worry about relationships with friends or family. It's an almost romantic notion.
The trouble is, it's not romantic. It's skirting responsibility and trying to find a way out of life. And that's not right.

Lol, no need to rep me. After all, it's kinda sad that you have so many people you owe rep to anyway. Worry about dealing with them :) I don't need rep. Helping people and saying nice things, without rewards.. is fulfilling enough for me.. because I get my own sense of satisfaction in the end.
@Htarreva
Lol I see. Thanks. I think that was one of the best replies pertaining to why you would do it. Many said they would but didn't get too deep into why, but you explained it pretty good. Hahaha, if more abilities comes with it and you can maintain your intelligence, then it does seem pretty helpful. Lol, but as you mentioned, if you're the only one looking like that it probably wouldn't be the best thing in the world for you. Lol, I'd never do it. But I definitely am starting to understand it all a little more, based on your post.
@ShaggyJebus:
That's why I just didn't get it Shaggy. The female I was speaking of is overage (by that, I mean over the age of eighteen). That's why I was wondering why she'd actually be serious about something like that and it's why I began to question her and later made this thread. I was wondering what could make someone consider becoming something like that. It's throwing away a lot.. even if you have life rough.
Your post probably has the deepest meaning of all post in this thread. While many were pretty good at answering the question at hand, none actually seemed to dive that far into why someone would consider doing it and the problems that they may be facing. Hell, even I didn't consider that and I made the thread. I just figured the person might still be "a kid inside" or have a vast imagination. That may be a possibility.
Anyway, thanks for bringing that up. Hmmm... perhaps she is troubled in quite a few ways. I try to look out for her though, and reading your post made me decide that maybe I should do so even more and make sure things are alright with her.
But yeah, it definitely isn't the responsible way to fix your problems and to some extent it's like suicide but not exactly. Haha, thanks for that post. It was "eye-opening".
[Lol, if I didn't rep Waar a while ago for a helpful thread he made, I'd be repping you now. I suppose you can expect a rep in the next 24 hours for that post]

After a little bit of thought and I emphasize "little" I would be interested in seeing life through the eyes of Zig's pet cat for a few hours or a day. Why? I know that we take damn good care of these cats. Plenty of food, water and always somebody or some cat to play with. Though that idea of using that litter box is a bit scary. Nobody knows what poopy little land mines are in there.
