You Cannot Have It Both Ways, People!

The recent loli-crackdown has had me thinking about why loli is even illegal/prosecuted in the first place. Let's put aside shitwhore, er... Agnes Chan's seeming belief that fictional characters have rights too. The basic premise is that, even if there are no actual minors used in the making of loli material that it's existence increases demand for real CP.

Let's look at homosexuality to kick off my explanation. The majority of Americans believe that homosexuality is inherent, genetic. It is neither learned nor acquired through one's environment. Well, if you think that sexuality is inherent, then that must hold true for pedophilia, because no matter how disgusting it is, pedophilia is a sexual orientation. It is inherent, genetic. Pedophiles are born, not made. Maybe repressed to a point, but [genuine] pedos are not the result of one's environment.

The argument that loli increases the demand for, or encourages real CP, is bullshit. Because saying that contradicts the earlier stated belief that one's sexuality is inherent and not learned. If you want to say that loli makes people into pedos or increases demand of real CP, then that acknowledges that sexuality is learned or externally influenced. thus, you agree with conservative shitheads that say a child brought-up in a gay household is more likely to be 'turned gay'. sorry, you cannot have your cake and eat it too. The demand for CP is there because pedos are there, and as long as there are pedos, they will want CP to look at.

How long is it going to be before someone finally sees the truth? I agree that if something curtails the rights of another, directly (or to the 1st/2nd degree) hurts someone, or you intentionally disseminate false information about someone, then it should be illegal, there are limits to our right to free speech, expression, ect.
But fundamentally loli does nothing to hurt anyone. Beyond what hurts others, what restrictions don't set us on the slippery slope? First loli...then small breasts, WS, anal...the slope is steep, and very hard to climb back-up once you start. After pornography, what political and religious speech will also be deemed obscene?

Honestly man, when i was younger i did try have a fantasy for older women but as i got older i wanted them younger or closer to my age at that time. Yeah not everyone does. It is pushed on by the media but there are a lot of people who don't by it. It started with gays saying "Look, this isn't my choice - I was born this way!" However, there Gay and Lesbian organization who no longer accept that because if homosexually is biological then it could pontentailly be treated as a disease.

And it isn't american stupidity as there are other countries who believe it as the norm as well. Plug in for anti-americanism not cool.

The problem is, either way you look at it someone will come up with some argument about how that proves that homosexuality is wrong.

If you go with "It's genetic, it's not a choice or based on what happened around me I am just generically build to want to be with the same sex", than as mentioned above people will argue that it's some illness or something that needs to be 'cured'.

But, if you go with "It's my choice to be with someone of the same sex", than you still end up with people saying 'it's the wrong choice because blah blah blah misreading or misunderstanding the bible'.

So really, it's not allowed to screw if you do, not allowed to screw if you don't, cause any way you go at it there will be people arguing against you, using your point of view on the subject as proof that your choice is wrong and their choice is right. *shrug* It really is painfully complex and annoying.

I think some people are born gay, and there's nothing they can do about it. Other people may have been affected by their surroundings. It's important to remember that we're complex beings, and very rarely are our actions dictated by a single thing.

Leaving genetics aside, I think a lot of pedophiles cannot help their feelings; however, they should be able to control their actions, or at the very least know when they are about to do something wrong and keep themselves from doing it by, I don't know, admitting themselves to a psych ward.

To avoid writing an essay, I'll say that I believe that sex is like ice cream. Some people like vanilla, while others like chocolate. You can't really change what your tastes are, right? If you like the way little girls look, what can you do to change it? That said, you can keep yourself from robbing the ice cream man, and similarly, you should be able to stop yourself from actually doing anything to a little girl, even if it means throwing yourself into a psychiatric hospital.

You are mistaking genetics for psychology.
Paedophiles cannot prevent their impulses, but this is caused by upbringing. Specifically, trauma during early childhood. They can choose not to act upon this impulse, but cannot prevent it without treatment (which is sometimes unsuccessful)

There is a theorized correlation between homosexuality and genetics, but the truth is WE DON'T KNOW. There isn't enough unbiased data on one side or the other, so no conclusion can be drawn.

Paedophilia is a marked, studied, and treated disorder. The real problem is that most people do not realize the degree of helplessness a person is under. Psychological problems make you "crazy", so sufferers seldom seek help, and society is...less than understanding. Compare it to substance abuse addiction.

I can see your argument and where it is going, unfortunately ideal and practiced are two seperate things. You said the majority of people believe homosexuality is something you are born with. Well that may be true in the state of maryland where gay couples can get married, but officially, the rest of america think that being gay is a choice. Also, understand it is hard, next to impossible to even think about accepting anything even close to CP in a christian based society sutch as ours. Any official who would even propose sutch an act as to go against it would be branded for life and never be re-elected to any possition short of regional comitee member. You must understand, that as far as rights for people like gays and others which deviate from normal society, is still in its infant stages. Homosexuals would have to be accepted as married people in this christian society of ours before we even begin to think about loli. Thats just the way america is.

Being homosexual is hereditary by means of genetics. Since each generation passes it's genetics onto the next it would be deemed hereditary. Similar to your disposition to certain cancers or diseases.



To my knowledge I have heard no evidence that promotes or counters the idea that pedophilia is genetic. Though I have heard arguments that pedophilia is a product of the nurture side of the "nature vs nurture". The reason for this is I have seen articles of men who had difficulty adjusting or associating with women their age. The Japanese men in this study were found to have reverted back to a time where they could relate and interact with women confidently (which was in their childhood). I'll look for the study but, I won't be able to locate it before sometime in July.

I don't believe sexual orientation has anything to do with genetics or at least entirely. You can have solely gay family then suddenly have a straight man and vise verse.

(Things physically inherited should only be things that affect your body, and your mind.)

Genetics affecting sexual orientation is possible but we cant say that is the entire purpose or that its the main reason. I don't think its right saying that your reason for being your way is the sole reason. I guess people are trying to break everything down to a science but I think its very hurtful and wrong to say its all based on genetics.

Everyone wants to blame everything but themselves. I'm pretty damn sure it is based on your surroundings. But to say loli, gay, porn or anything along those lines will physically affect you is wrong. I mean in some cases it does happen. But to blame said material is wrong. That's like violent games being blamed for school shootings.

YOU CANNOT BLAME ONE THING. outcomes are based on multiple things. while one main thing can trigger it, there has to be things under the surface which also led to said outcome.

I do not believe fictional people have rights. that idea is simply unethical. pretty soon we wouldn't even be allowed to draw stick people having sex, killing each other and so on and so forth. Which would go against humanity itself. What if early man were not allowed to draw cave paintings? that's our culture.

The American Public is a bunch of hypocritical idiots. They do things that benefit themselves with no regard for others. They will change and twist the meaning of things and obscure its purpose.

Well we cannot just solely blame America. As I said before not one thing is ever the whole reason for anything.

To ban something solely because you dislike it is wrong. To make up reasons to benefit you is wrong. People should stop being so up tight about it and get on with they re lives and find something else to do then ruin other peoples happiness.
