Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike

Finally got it and..... holy f**k this game is on a whole new level compared to SSF4, i can't seem to do any advanced combos in trials though and i don't understand why since i never had execution problems in SSF4. And the remixed OST just makes it a bit more enjoyable especially on some maps that had boring ass music. So far so good, waiting for my first fight stick ever to come!
P.S. Playing Makoto. On PS3

people were reporting that the PS3 version has input lag offline, no word on 360 yet...not 100% positive but i believe its because the game runs at 30fps could be totally wrong though. i heard 360 version runs with no noticeable lag, but once again not positive about this.

I sorta want to buy this. I have 20$ on my PSN account and i don't know what to spend it on. I traded in MK9 and got 35$ out of it. If i buy it who here would want to play against me?

After spending half an hour on this game, I think it's safe to say that this is completely different from SF4. There is no input leniency, so if you want to do an uppercut you actually have to input that exact motion.
I was kind of disappointed at the trials, thought they could have been made it to be more beginner friendly instead of just jumping right in.

Just in case anyone is interested in the cause of the input lag (because I was), I took this from dude on another forum. I have not checked its validity, just posting it.

I just hope it will be either tonight or really soon, but hit me up whenever I'm online and I'll be more than happy to challenge you.

360, I need someone to play...
Bonus :
I've been playing a lot of 3S since back then so here's a tip for the new people to 3S -
Execution-wise, if you guys want to pull out DP, practice it. This game is "ARCADE-PERFECT", thus, no leniency on inputs unlike SFIV or MvC3.
I find that the best game to teach you exact execution, play some Super Street Fighter II Turbo (not HD Remix).
SSFIIT has the hardest execution out of all of the SF titles due to it being the SF that started it all.
Anywho,
As good example of execution of moves : One of Chun's BnB:
Crouching Forward xx SA2
If you really want to cancel out a crouching forward into a Super here's a few suggestions -
If you guys are playing on Pad/Controller, try buffering the super move and instead of hitting the Forward button, hit Short or Roundhouse.
This method also works for stick players.
To an addition of just hitting a different strength, stick players can also "piano" out the super.
These methods in general help in pulling out supers because of the 3S game mechanics.
Hope this helps a little to those new to 3S. Enjoy the game.

Xbox doesn't have the upload to youtube function. Not a huge loss tbh, cause you can record better quality videos with an ezcap... which is kinda sad, but oh well.
