Sorry dawg but ive got a PS3... Seems like not many people on this site play much Battlefield everyones more into Black Ops! :(

I would have played it non stop if my connection wasn't such a$$ disconnecting me 60% of the matches. Since the games on BF are much longer than BO it gets a higher chance of disconnecting midround, that's why i prefer shorter games these days.

But BF will always be superior to other FPS in my eyes.

I prefer Battlefield over Black Ops and I'd still be playing if it weren't for the shitty signal my PS3 gets after I moved it farther from the router.

Better move it closer to the router then... Battlefield 3s coming out in the not too distant future and its gonna hit you like an ATOMIC BOMB between the legs! xD

I might be up for that sometime. Kinda busy trying to knock out a bunch of games I purchased recently, but I'm always up for some Bad Company 2.

Ive been wondering for a while now why the spotting thing never works whenever I play a game.

Watched some Xbox vids on youtube and I was like "How come I dont get those usefull red tags over they're heads whenever I spot the enemy?".

Ive been noticing recently in particular that people are raping the heck out of the Magnum Ammo/Body Armour perks. Kinda makes me feel sad seeing swarms of Medics and Engineers with Magnum on!

WTF happened to the Medic health perks or explosive weapons damage perks? Do all the Kool Kidz not use them anymore or something?

Also Magnum on a SPAS 12 in hardcore = LOL!!! :D

Never was terribly fond of Magnum. I usually implement something that is actually beneficial to my class rather than some generic bonus.

I only use magnum ammo if i'm running around with a SPAS *the only shotgun i approve* most of the time i use assault+F2000+Body armor.

Just looked up some G3 videos on Youtube and I must admit I raged at some of the shit LIES people come out with about this weapon. (Its a FUCKING beast of a gun and in my opinion if you bitch and moan that you cant use it you FAIL HARD at the game)

Its fucking ridiculous, The G3 doesnt have terrible hit detection and the iron sights are the BEST in the game and for the record... Its NOT an LMG its a Rifle!!! -__-

Meh, I've always ended up liking different guns in Bad Company 2 compared to what seems to be the popular choices. I'm not a fan of any of the games assault rifles, with maybe the exception of the AUG, which it seems like people are either indifferent towards or hate. Similarly, my sniper rifle of choice is the SV98 Snaiperskaya (because I love how fast you can cycle the next round) as opposed to the GOL Sniper Magnum or the Barrett M95, which seems to be the rifles of choice.

No, the miscellaneous guns are my favorite. I adore the G3, M14 and the M1 Garand. I use them on all of my classes aside from Recon.

And my gun nut self wants me to mention that the G3 uses the 7.62x55mm NATO standard cartridge which actually makes it a battle rifle instead of an assault rifle which typically uses the 5.56x45mm NATO standard round. >.>

Anyway, he is quite correct about crouching. That isn't to say that the gun's accuracy is poor otherwise, it just does benefit to burst fire at range as opposed to firing full-auto. You can just get away with firing full-auto at a greater distance if you are crouched. There are a few other guns in the game that have that 50% recoil reduction when crouched as well, but they escape me at the moment.

AEK-971 VINTOVKA and SV98 SNAIPERSKAYA = still best guns for me. :)

Havent really been a fan of the Assault Rifles either this is mainly due to me sucking ass with the 40MM Grenade Launcher. (Im a noob with the tube)

I just prefer having a whole bunch of C4 on me instead to take down buildings/set traps/destroy tanks ETC.

I rarely play Rush (For ages ive only been playing Conquest) but ive played a few rounds lately and I must admit im liking the smoke grenades! (Very usefull) I doubt id choose an Assault Rifle otherwise because the G3 is a jack of all trades. (Dont need anything else)

Havent got veteran status either so no Garand for me but I picked it up off a corpse once and thought it was very good (Apart from reloading clips that is) Better than an M14 in my opinion! (10 round box mags, I prefer the Vietnam version) :(

Same. I'm not terribly good with the grenade launcher, but smoke grenades can be useful in almost any objective mode if used properly. Usually not enough to warrant me running around with the Assault class though unless there is no one around resupplying allies.

I don't have the M1 Garand either, but a friend I play with has it, and uses it often. There have been several times he has died and I'll pick up his kit to give it a whirl. The gun is just absolutely amazing and puts my M14 to shame nine times out of ten.

I couldn't get into the Vietnam version. I don't know what it is, but I'm not very fond of it at all. Although, I do like that vehicles are much easier to destroy, which not only makes logical sense but also makes more sense from a gameplay perspective. Don't see as many 'tards running for the helicopter and dueling with the enemy chopper because it is simple chore to be a Medic and to take down an enemy chopper by yourself.

I love updating peoples stats on bfbcs.com! Played a Core Rush round with ReachFarther last night which was pretty cool but id Love to play some Hardcore Conquest with him on Arica Harbour to show him how I do. :)

Also I hope to get to play with you guys more in the future when Battlefield 3 comes out 'cause ive basically not played with ANYONE I didnt know in RL 'till yesterday which is a bit of a shame TBH. :(

Trying out the Assault rifles more for the lulz, (With 40MM shotgun which seems strangely to FAIL at close range but seems OK at medium range) I must admit my favourite or the bunch is the AN-94 Abakan! (Tried the M16 which is good but just doesnt feel right to me) The thing I dont like about the M16 is that it has the typical American style sight with that stupid round piece of metal thing that they tend to have over it which doesnt help your view of the enemy at all and I really dont like the fact that it has a 3 round burst facility which in my opinion is one round too many. Two round burst fire is the way to go! (Cycles quicker at close range so its kinda like a semi automatic rifle)

One trend that I see within myself (Worryingly?) is that I tend to sub-consiously favour the European and to a lesser extent Russian weapons over American ones. (Even during COD I went with 'European' weaponry) As American players do you guys see M16, M60 or whatever and think "FUCK YEAH, Thats the good shit" Does the legend of these guns help you to be more biased towards them because when I see MG3, G3 and GOL Magnum (Based on the good ol' Mauser system and German built to boot) Etc I think "Aaaaaah German kit" and I feel safer, More secure and probably play better too! Just wondering...

Pack of C4, M-14, better explosives and more explosives perks. That's all one needs to bring hell and high water for the enemy.
Especially on heavily forested areas.. Nothing is more fun then purifying whole flag area from enemies with 6 well placed C4. Which I seem to do only in the game anymore, since ambushing with that stuff is more fun then going to John Rambo mode on them.

That was quite a while ago though, around the first few months when game was released. Modern stage turned back into the WW2, thanks to forgotten hope 2 on BF2. Taking down a Tiger in a 75mm M4A2E5 (Sherman V) by outmaneuvering it is great fun, only to get shot by a Panther afterwards. Regardless of dying, taking down one of the most dreaded tanks on the battlefield is just an achievement really.
