I call bullshit, i thought Battlefield 2143 was the next one in the series.
Also, 69:99 holy shit.

Too expensive. I wouldn't be surprised if their sales take a bit of a hit for that. Although not too much of a hit, since it's already popular enough for people to actually pay for that game even with that pricetag.

The price is for Medal Of Honor in case people didn't notice.I think their surprised at the price because they don't know it's the deluxe edition.
The regular version, though it's called limited edition, of the game is the normal price of $59.99

If this is for some sort of deluxe/limited edition, that is fine. But if this is the price for the standard. Then fuk you EA! Dolphin and Whale!

Here in Finland, starting price for a video game for XBoX360/PS3 is 69.99Eur. PC/Wii/NDS/3DS goes for 59.99. PSP/PSV 49.99
Haven't seen a single collectors/limited/special edition game in stores at all *have to order them from websites*.
70 USD goes for about 57 Eur.
You guys can probably count the rest.
P.S. Pokemon games are unique, they never get a discount. We have Pokemon Ruby for GBA in one of our stores, costs 59.99 STILL......

I was hoping for a Battlefield: Bad company 3. I just hope they make the campaign better on this one than it was on BF3 >_>

If you pre-order a limited edition of MOH: Warfighter before october 25th, you'll be granted an access to the Beta of BF4 somewhere in autumn 2013.

Looks like your claim of bullshit has been turned around, it's announced now! EA are going to become as greedy as Activision but with Battlefield, I can tell for sure.
And yes, 69.99 (£49.99) for a PC download. That just backs my point up even further ;P

But far be it from me to say that BF3 wasn't a true successor to the mastery that was BF2.
Oh and for everyone worried about the price, this is just a ridiculous gimmick to sell more MoH copies. You will almost absolutely, without a doubt, get access to the BF4 for free eventually and can expect to pay the "normal" price for MoH all day long without missing out on much.
BF4 will probably have a normal $60 price tag, but something tells me they will push the premium stuff hard. Expect something like a $40 add-on for all future DLC or something.

Fucking EA, it ruins Dragon Age, Mass Effect, now Battlefield now that they forced their companies with incredibly unreasonable time to make a good game. EA really did deserve the golden poop award for being the worst company in America

For everyone complaining about the $69.99 price tag, that's for the deluxe version. You can also get the regular version for $59.99.
Back on topic, We don't know if Battlefield 4 will be set in the future (2143) or not. It's not going to be released for another 18+ months.
