Comes out in November as of right now. That's kinda quick on another CoD release in my opinion. But I won't complain.

I think it looks like Vietnam. See all the trees in the forest at the end of the video? What middle-eastern country has that? Unless it's modern combat in a different enviorment completely.

It better be better than Bad Company 2 and Medal Of Honor, Because as of right now. CoD has died for me.

According to GAME's website in the UK, Call of Duty: Black Ops will take you to Cuba, the Arctic and of course, the widely rumoured Vietnam.

According to the site...

Sounds like a well travelled affair this one.

prolly. look at the helicopter's markings (UH-1 Has colors of vietnam-era.)
maybe the characters are from SAD. (Special Activities Division) cause they say it's black ops.

Bah, I don't care if it is Treyarch or Infinity Ward. Call of Duty is dead to me. It'll take a lot to make the series good again. I'll keep a half-assed watch on it, but I'm not expecting much.

I have a feeling this COD is going to have a conspiracy plot that extends from the Cold War hence Vietnam war setting and Cold War hardware, to the modern day evident in the scenes with modern weapons.

Hopefully Treyarch will pull this off better than IW did *crosses fingers*

Might be good, even though I think Vietnam is probably one of the worst settings for any modern war game. Treyarch has a possible chance of taking MW2's failures and taking what made CoD good and make a good game in this setting. I might give it a chance seeing how its for a war that is rarely used.

CoD is dead. There a now like 4 studio working on the series, so there's going to be a new game every year. Like every Activision owned game, there will be sequels every year.

Oh btw, Infinity Ward is dead. Don't expect a new infinity ward game for a few years (or even ever). They basically all left! They are now called Respawn,published by EA.
