Call of Duty: Ghosts

Multiplayer reveal.

I watched the live stream of the multiplayer reveal, it looks good in my opinion. I'm pretty excited. From the explanations of the multiplayer they gave it seems like they've actually tried this time. If this one flops as well though then I'm done with the series.

I will approach this with cautious optimism, I go back and forth on Call of Duty games. Black Ops 2 left a bad taste in my mouth but I had so much fun with MW2 and MW3 that I will probably dive back in if it seems good.

On another note a lot of the other posters here seem pretty upset with call of duty games and I'm a little curious why? I can definitely appreciate the criticism over the lack of innovation but I think that they're pretty well made (with the exception of BO2, which was actually broken in some spots).

I never liked Infinity Ward's games. I had a harder time with MW2 than I did with Black Ops and the worst cod for me was MW3; but they really outdid themselves this time. While they incorporated nothing new like environmental damaging and kneeing maneuvers, they went up the scale with the Squad Mode. I feel like they added all the great parts from other modern FPS and added a little more in a Call of Duty flavor.

The only thing stopping me from getting it is the lag reception. If it's the same they-saw-me-first lag bs I get from previous games then it would be another BOP2; good game with shitty slow matches.

I was disappointed to say the least. I was holding out for something different, and I really don't want to be a cynic, but my honest opinion is that they grabbed a few features from Battlefield and incorporated them into their game.

Fr a next gen game it's already ugly, I guess I'll be cancelling my purchase.
