Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

I was starting to care more about my K/D than I was willing to admit before I stopped playing for a while. But thanks to lots of camping and stuff it really isn't even remotely indicative of skill.

Yeah win/loss tells you who has skill for the most part, because I understand sometimes you have THE WORST PEOPLE on your team, or put into a losing game.

I don't understand what boosting is. Is it using elevators or geometry glitches?

Boosting is when you purposely join a match with a friend or someone on the opposite team and killing each other in order to unlock challenges and so forth, mostly for the purpose of getting Ten Prestige.

Also leads to some nasty Nuke Boosting in Free-for-All matches.

Oh. I did not know that. I usually play with friends when I can but it generally degenerates into us telling dirty jokes over team speak, and yelling strange catch phrases over making a kill. This week's most silly catch phrase "CARNAGE 100!"

Yeah I'll be playing a game type, and 2 minutes later have a chopper gunner ripping me, then realize that some guy on my team is 0-11.

That's no good. The closest I've come to that was yesterday when i joined a game only to get a really lucky streak (I won't lie it was pure luck) and got accused of cheating when I ended the match with 34/4

I couldn't man I was laughing too hard at the realization myself. And I mean like embarrassing little girl almost pissed my self laughter. I turned my mic on to try and sincerely apologize to enemy team and those who where offended, but it just kinda sounded like "HAHA I...Oh god hahahah...I'm sorry haaaahahaheee...DUDES -weeze-"

I personally like playing this game: the multiplayer that is since the single player mode failed me. I was in this one mission where I kept dying a lot against Russian baddies to the point that I can see the floor littered with my corpses which probably annoyed the enemies with their rotting decaying stench by now. Then when I finally miraculously survived the ordeal I reach the end of the level only 15 feet away from where I kept dying only to be killed instantly as a part of the story.

What difficulty were you on?

I just found one hell of a really good MW2 machinima.
