Why your last shooting game?

I have a bunch of reasons, but I don't want to make a wall of text.

But one main reason is I like fighting games better. Takes more skill than someone just camping in a corner. Plus I don't have to spend 10-15 bucks an update for maps or something. In certain games like halo, you can't even play ranked unless you buy the maps.

Oh and please I'm not trying to rant, if I didn't like shooting games I wouldn't still be playing MW2.

Oh I see and don't get me wrong I was just curious. I didn't know Halo made you buy the maps, as far as I know CoD doesn't, I know I didn't have to with WaW and I didn't have to with Killzone. My advice would be that if you want a break from CoD style shooty campy jackassery try a squad or class based game like Killzone or Team Fortress. Or perhaps a PRG like Fallout, I hear they are working on Fallout New Vegas now.

I just hate when games practically make you buy the maps like halo or when they keep boosting the prices.

I mean two of the five maps are from cod4, why 15 bucks?

Probably won't be my last shooter, I was just upset since I don't have money to spend. Plus I know I'm getting Gears of war three.

Oh it has more maps than just the 2 from CoD4. the pack contains a total of 5 maps. 3 totally new ones, and 2 from CoD 4. So it's 5 maps for 15 but that still is a bit steep. And yeah I like fallout as well. That reminds me I'm still only like 4 away from platinum on that too, but I haven't gotten around to doing it.

I've completely beaten every cod game and fallout three. So I think in PS3 terms I would have all the platinum trophies for all those games

Maybe, they have achievements for xbox and steam now. The platinum trophy is only a bigger trophy you get for earning all the other trophies/achievements for that game basically a 100% complete confirmation.

Yeah we get achievement points, we so I have no idea in PS3 terms how many trophies I got.

But like I said I've gotten em all :D

I'm glad veteran in this game isn't grenade mode.

Well both Xbox and PS3 have the same achievements and trophies for most of their games. [I say most because there are some cases like Bioshock in which Trophies to gamerscore differ] And yes, MW2's veteran seemed a hell of a lot easier than WaW's I can't remember how many times I'd push all the way to a checkpoint only to die from a precooked circle of grenades thrown directly in all my 8 directions at once. Good programming decision treyarch!

Lol it was spam grenade mode. At the second to last mission where you had to destroy the four mortars, was GRENADE CENTRAL!

Well it would be zombie Russians, plus zombies, with AGM missiles is not good.

But I heard they were going to do something like that. Was it all just hype?

Well then to bring some light into this thread.

I will mention this I played against people today who were using lightweight and spaz-12 shotguns.

An entire team of lightweight shotguns...they were terrible.
