Cheat Codes We Miss You

I really miss cheat codes. Sometimes you play a game and the story is awesome but the gameplay sucks...or is just repetitive. Sometimes a game had hilarious cheat codes that didn't really effect the gameplay in any way. And sometimes I want to enjoy my RPGs without all the damn grinding. But I like my lvl grinding to have overwhelming power. GTA IV got cheat codes, but nothing like it's better predecessors.
Big Head Mode, we shall miss you.

I'm glad they removed cheat code from games
My gaming skill only got better as soon as I could use cheats

Cheats are the #1 reason Golden eye on the N64 was amazingly fun. ou could customise everytuthing, From limb size to head size to gun damage.
Having cheat codes again would be very entertaining...

Cheat codes are fun only and I mean ONLY if you've actually beaten the game and use it afterwards. I think you mean that you enjoy them only after you've beaten the game.
Of course, these cheats are rarely needed nowadays, as games in my opinion have become easier over the course of multiple console generations.
Yes I mostly mean myself, but that is just a statement I am making. Not trying to force anyone to think different but just partially showing how I feel about cheats in general.
The only reason I would say games are easier is because gamers today have a higher level standard as we all should have a good degree of deciphering problems, hands-eyes coordination, and the like. Though there are some games where they are extremely hard or frustrating cause the amount of time you have to level grind or figure out the pattern to defeat a certain boss. Personally I prefer a challenge over an easy game where I can defeat it in less than a week or if it is that bad less than a day.
Also to respond to the Tales of series, I wouldn't really call that a cheat system but it kinda is at the same time. After beating most Tales of series you can use points to make your new game+ play through easier. Granted most cheats are use to make things easier, but with the Tales of series system it doesn't grant you everything like invincibility but can ease the process of progressing the game; also, this can actually make the game harder like 1/2 experience.
That's what Hard/Very Hard/ Unknown mode is for.

yea cheat codes can be very fun after you have cleared the game, but it's not fun just cheating your way through a game. It can be sometimes depending on the game

I almost beat a battle toads game without a Konami code...
Thing is, when you cheated on those old school games with infinate lives and better guns and what not, it was a nessisary evil unless you were TRULY SKILLED.
There isn't a damn game left that needs cheats... everythings far too easy. Don't believe me? Play a snes MortalKombat2 on "Very Easy" and beat the game. This is easily the most mentally Fatiguing thing ever .... Then Play it on Very hard after you beat Very easy and learn how hard games should still be... when I set something on the hardest difficulty I want a Chalange no Human being could possibly over come, because the computers are designed to know how to counter ANYTHING you do before you do it.
Nowadays with these games its all too easy to see a compuetr player on the hardest difficulty and know if you charge your attack and wait for the exact moment you will succeed. MK2 very hard... if you do nothing you lose, If you do something you lose, if you do everything you lose.
Cheats are needed to beat MK2 :p now Name a game nowadays thats so hard you'd need to cheat? Theres like none...
