Me and Noutakun have already begun preparations on this. No need to worry on a game. We've been thinking RO for the game. Me and him pretty much got it covered from here on out.

RO is cool. Most of us should have played RO or at least try playing it. Sounds great.

Yes, RO is great.
But which RO is it? It has many server, and the international is NOT free. Maybe you could try some private server and decide which is best. If it's RO, try looking at ratemyserver.net. And please, no more than mid rate.
And I'm gonna join for sure.
For those who don't know, RO stands for Ragnarok Online.

We already decided AnimaRO a while back, which actually transferred to AnthemRO.

So is it official yet? New RO chara takes time to level up unless you bot :S

I take what i said back earlier. For some reason I can never get into RO.

I'd join any clan. Minus RO and a few other computer games. RO was never really my piece of cake...

Many private servers are not official, some of them even closed for various reasons. And the level up speed varies depending on the rate of the server itselves. There are low rates, mid rates, high rates, even super high rates that I eventually hate.

I've seen the server's site and comments. Not bad, but it lacks creativity.
Here's some that I'd recomend.

Low rates.

EuphRO - Low rate 3/3/2.
Pro : Humongous community, balanced, long run server, custom aura, change hat sprite.
Con : There is no free warp NPC, no free healer, and no reset.

PSIBlade Online - Low rate 5/5/3 and 10/10/5.
Pro : Two server with different rates, bunch of custom things, don't need kRO client, long run server.
Con : No healer, that's it.

heRO - Low rate 5/5/3.
Pro : Long run server, cool custom stuffs, VERY friendly community, competitive WoE.
Con : Not too big community, that's it.

Mid rates.

EssenceRO - Mid rate 75/75/50.
Pro : See for yourself at essencero.com.
Con : Lagging once in a while.
Site : essencero.com

EphiphanyRO - Mid rate 30/30/15.
Pro : VERY balanced, awesome WoE system, friendly community.
Con : Base level and job level is the same as the official.(99 base, 70 job, 99 job for Super Novices)

Those are what I'd recomend.

And why some people can't really get into RO? I can't find any reason as RO is one of the simplest MMORPG in my opinion.

EcchiRO - Mid Rate 400/200/80.
Pro : It has NAKED sprite, two sprite mode ; naked and default.
Con : It's an ecchi server so don't be surprised the member, donation-based server.

No its not official yet though me and Naota had a small one going for a little bit of time.

Give me a mid-high end graphicswise game on which we all start from scratch, and I'll join. Even a http://www.gpotato.com/ game would do. It's all free there, with mostly 100% uptime.

Hell, some of us even played Rising Force Online for a few weeks.

I picked RO for a couple of reasons: The private servers are easy and abundant, it isn't graphic heavy, and it's fun. I picked AnthemRO because I know from experience that it has an enormous community, not to mention a heavy WoE/PvP system. I live for PvP, which means I need low rates, stat and skill reset-ers, and tons of players to pwn. EpiRO failed when I looked at it last, EcchiRO doesn't have any PvP potential... AnthemRO is all around the best choice.

My RF and Flyff ID isn't even active in years. The system there are too complicated, and the quest just came as you levelled up.(For RF) Both are good, but it's just grinding till the end where the one with better equip, high lvl, and bunch of pots win. You know how the autopots on RF works, and flyff needs cash at lvl 75+. Meaning it's not really free at that lvl.


I see, but you still can see Ephiphany and heRO. Ephiphany has amazing WoE system, you'll realize it's different from the usual ones. And it's very balanced between classes as it has standard stat and lvl based on official RO. While heRO server is a PK server. Although I never get killed by the member there. They're very friendly seriously.
I'll try Anthem for a little while and see how it is.

I just finished downloading the game. I'll hang around a bit and see what happen. Been a few years since I last played RO. Not sure what other classes they have added there...

Well I would like it if those who plan on joining us didn't just jump into the fray. I know no one wants to start out with friends of theirs who already have a good 30 something levels on them. We should synchronize a date to drop in... perhaps New Years Eve?

[*]Gather other members. Get other people you know to play. I don't know if we are actually going to name the clan FAKKU, so they don't necessarily need to know about FAKKU or what it is that goes on around here.
[*]Arm yourself. You need to know exactly how to play your class. This doesn't mean you can't ask questions. I used to be in the Raven's Nest, and from them I obtained a large wealth of knowledge on game mechanics. You are, however, expected to know decent strategies and basic class control.

I'll go with knight/crusader. The last time I played (4 years ago ><) , this class was the best tank. Otherwise I can pick up wizard too. Any suggestions?
