We do need a tank and a wizard... it's up to you.

I never played RO before, so it's hard to exactly know how to play a class.

And that the role of the healer is already assigned makes it less attactive.

With as many people that signed up, we could use another healer.

What we really need than another healer is an Assassin Cross, they can kill almost all other classes except paladins with reflect shield. They should be the perfect killer. Don't forget that Bard/Clown with Assassin Cross At Sunset + Katar type Assassin Cross is dangerous.

Can't kill Paladins, yes, or a decent Champion, a fast High Wizard, a Star Gladiator, my Ninja build (except with Soul Breaker, but I usually have something up my sleeve for that...)

But yeah, I only threw Priest out there is because he commented on wanting to join less because Priest had already been taken.

I'm currently downloading the client.

And I'm gonna bring a friend along, though we have no idea about character builds or stuff like that.

I'm gonna make a healer, and he's heading for some tank class, but since we don't have any experience or knowledge about that game, any advice on what we should keep in mind for that?

Well, stick with me in the early levels. Priest and Monk both branch off of Acolyte, so we will be the same class for a while. I'll help you with stats, skills, and stuff in game. And your friend, if he wants to be a tank, could be a Paladin. We need one.

My char name's Naco, and I think I'll go with Priest/High Priest (still no idea how that stuff about 1st and 2nd job is working).

Ok, finally got it installed and working.
But as Hibia pointed out on IRC, what do we do? You start with no items and there are no instructions on where to go.

Yeah, I even configured an openkore bot, and he's friggin' lost too. I've wandered and attacked a sheep, but I died and got pissed off.

Meet me in game--I'll help you out. And there WAS a noob guide NPC right in front of where you started.



Hibia, please don't use bots. I might be tempted to report you should things get out of control. Lawl.

It's ok now, weve found out what we gotta do and done it. Me and Hibia are already at the first jobs and are busy leveling up.
