Demon's Souls

My endgame time was 75 hours and I'm just waiting till my friend is a high enough level so all three of us can play at the same time plus you got PVP battles with the red eye stone and invading other peoples game with the back eye stone. Then theirs New Game + and something else coming as atlus has announced.
I have both Perona PSP, Demon's Souls, and getting Uncharted 2 this coming week. It's like I have a money tree or something as some of my friends on my PSN have told me.

I've seen plenty reviews of the game and I don't even know which I can trust. Some make it sound like sure, the game is hard, but it's super awesome and you'll love it. Then there's another I read which said that the game is horrible because the checkpoint frequency is shit and that you get insta-killed arbitrarily and can only get passed the area without dying if you are clairvoyant. I'm on the fence with this game until I am sure that the constant deaths won't make the game unfair and ruin my experience.
It wont, you instead become addicted to the gameplay and don't mind the deaths (or atleast to the point it ruins the game for you). Think along the lines of mario games - you'll die but eventually you'll find a way to stop dying and beat the level. And when you do it is awesome.
If you play online then you'll see other adventurers as well and can read notes left behind that leave warnings of traps and what not or enemies ahead - although I've heard that these messages can be assholes trying to trick you. But I noticed that you can rate the notes left behind and so far I haven't ran across a note with false information.
Downside of the game is the difficulty (mainly getting used to the difficulty, eventually you'll adjust) but the upside is it is very gratifying when you beat a boss or any progess you make really. Plus the game has a great dark evil atmosphere to it.

Haha, I just bought it.
What I find weird is how everyone talks about how you die and shit, but no one mentions what powers you get or other shit, that you could use to keep yourself from dying. There are different classes, but I've been disappointed that no one mentioned the skills you could have.
I can't play it today though. Lame.

I finally obtained the demonbrandt. I want to get the soulbrandt already but I am hesitating to finish the game since it gets harder once you do. I'm trying to raise my levels first...

Return to the Nexsus and do it all over again till your satisfied. I can finally play with some of the people in my friends list. They were too weak, like ants to me so I couldn't summon them.

Fallout 3Yes, fucking get it. A lot more fun than demon's souls.
My friend PS3 broke so he said i can borrow Fallout 3 from him. I rented it once before and loved it. I only want it again to try the DLC and get trophies and to keep it. I'm most likely gonna get Demon souls. I love my rpgs(playing Final Fantasy 7 atm). But here is a BIG question. If i get the DLC while i borrow my friends game will it go on his disk or will it be on my hard drive so i wont have to buy it again.

The DLC should be on your HDD. If it was added to the disk, then anyone could get it that just borrows the game from him.

How about Demon's Souls is SO addictive, and I have only played it for less than 4 hours because I borrowed a cousin's copy. Im getting a collector's edition tomorrow or the day after ;o
this game is a MUST BUY for those who intend to find themselves a real challenge, and love the satisfaction that you get from achieving something ;D

This is how my experience with this game went. (Keep in mind this was went it first came out a while ago.)
I bought it under the impression that it was going to be great. Went into the game wanting to get caught up in it. Started her up and made my character. Picked a rouge class I think. I went to customize my character and were horrified by no matter how hard I tried I could not make her any less hideous than a goat. I just tacked it up to bad character design and kicked it under the rug. Went through my first mission. If I recall I had to slay a red dragon. COOL. Walked across this bridge and used most of my arrows killing people while also using something like stealth kills. After making it into the castle FINALLY I got raped by fire and had to start over. No big deal, I die in games, it happens. I continue back at the beginning. Kinda lame but ok. I then realize that all the arrows (that were pretty crucial to my progress last time) were gone along with all my healing items. Tried making a run for it but was followed by EVERY ENEMY ON THE LEVEL. Decided "Fuck it" and took the game back.
I think I may not be very good at those types of games. >_>

Pretty much the worst strategy you could use lol. DS is all about resource management in your first playthrough.
OT I'm only 3 trophies away from platinum, and just finished NG++. I NEED A FUCKING PURE MOONLIGHTSTONE FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
