I got the game on its release day. I was pissed that it had so many launch day problems. But after I started playing it, I thought it was awesome. I don't know how you guys finish it so quickly. I play slow. My farthest character is on act 2 of normal mode. I like 3 of the 5 characters so I play with all three of them. Monk, Wizard and Demon Hunter. I play on the north american servers. I will try to add you guys. my tag is echoeagle3#1405

I know that feel. I have ~lv23 rare amulet and shoulders ~lv35 iirc.
While sporting a beefy 5k+ dps :D (and I know that's like a mosquito bite in inferno).

Just got to 60, and oh boy is the auction house overpriced at this level. You'll have to shell out 500k for a half decent one handed...
Suppose i'll just farm some gear in inferno...

Yea, any luck with that past act 2? I'm stuck at phase 3 of act 3.

Nevermind the fact stuff is expensive, the AH is giving too much problems at this point of time, request time out, bid fail, money disappearing.>_>
And the AH is down.

I'm bit past halfway through Act II as monk on Hell difficulty. Probably won't finish Hell before I'm done with my thesis, so about 2 more weeks. Have been slacking off too much.

I recommend taking it as slow as you can, the current game's inferno is silly. Itemization is crap, champions are impossibly difficult, grouping does not minimize difficulty, etc.
It's more fun to just level characters to 60, rather then dealing with inferno - unless you like near impossible challenges. It's not Dark Souls - where you could actually outplay stuff.

I would get this game as I've heard a lot of good things about it but I haven't played the first two games. Also I am broke and where I live at, out in the country, we can only get dial-up which sucks major balls.

You can outplay Inferno pretty easily with a group of Demon Hunters.

Stand there with your group and fire off EA with the LB rune at mobs near your max range, most of the time you'll kill them before they get to you, and if they do get to you, just pop SS run away and repeat. It's not fun, in fact it makes the game incredibly boring, but it seems to be the best way to deal with 90% of inferno content. Bosses are a different matter with a group of demon hunters, many, many wipes are to be expected.

They definitely need to patch up inferno, I'm now at inferno act 2 sewers with my monk. I have nearly 500 resist to all, 30k hp, and 11k dps, but the randomly generated elites are sometimes impossible to kill, or even run away from for that matter. I'm planning to farm butcher and SK with my MF gear until I can upgrade some of my current equips.
For those of you who got past act 2 inferno, lemme know what you did. So disappointed with the pub level that I'm getting partied with...some people just makes every game they play look more difficult than it needs to be.

The day I run into Horde Invulnerable Minions Jailer Desecrator is the day I stop playing D3. That, or as soon as Torchlight 2 comes out. (Because Blizz kinda dropped the ball on this one given how long they've been working on it.)
Also, glad to see I'm not the only masochist in here trying to play through inferno as a monk.

They need to fix the AH as well. Purchased items earlier, AH takes my 200k and I don't get the item under the complete tab. Asked a gm what was happening and the response I got was that items take up to 48 hours, and proceeds take up to 5 days. Both my friend and I had this problem and there were other users on the b net forums posting the same problem.

Currently at the end of act 2 inferno. almost 1 shot the boss and then proceeded to wipefest due to tiredness.
My group of friends LAN partied the first 4 days at my place and we were all 60 by the end of day 3. Normal and nightmare are a joke compared to hell and inferno. First elite pack we found in Hell was the Hopkin Green Frog so now we call all elite packs hopkins. Also my cousin who is playing barbarian is very afraid of tree.
The difficulty is vastly different with 4 people in the group compared to solo. getting to the end of act 2 inferno was a pain in the ass. the normal cat mobs just destroy the ranged while the normal bug mobs destroy the melee. My sorc has 40k hp, ~500 resists, and 20k dmg. We're basically at the point where we will farm maghda over and over until we get better loot or use the money we find for stuff from the auction house. We used to farm spider boss in act 1. Full stacks and switching to MF gear before the kill helps.
