DLC in video games

The first ever DLC that I acquired was the Valkyria Chronicles 2 DLC, and I did not even have to pay for it. The VC2 DLC made my VC2 gaming easier. Thank YOU, Hervor g21!!!!

I had a feeling they might do this, even though I love the dead space series, I just had a feeling, guess I get to wait for the collector's edition.

I don't buy DLC individually. I wait and buy a game's "complete edition."
I don't support developers/publishers with egregious dlc practices on principle. Day 1 dlc? Get fucked, EA (or Capcom, etc.).

DLC doesn't bother me when it's done right.
For instance in Dark Souls the Artorias of the Abyss DLC. it's the additional content from the PC version, simple as that. New items, bosses, areas, spells, and for just the measly price of 20 bucks. I bought the game for 20 bucks anyways so essentially i payed the price of the pc version (which i originally bought but had refunded cause my computer is a piece of shit).
When it's done wrong is Capcom. On-disc dlc is fucking bullshit. no matter how you spin it, it's bullshit. day one dlc doesnt even compare to this. it blows my mind on so many levels how bullshitty this is.

Capcoms excuse for DLC being on-disk already was to make it easier for future updates. I guess we all saw how that worked out.
One thing that annoys me slightly is how companies practically give something that was originally exclusive to players that preorder a game, but that exclusive becomes available to everyone. Happened with Black Op II. Nuketown 2025 was supposed to be a preorder bonus, but it was released to anyone that bought the game.
Eh, once Revolution is released, I'll be getting it just to run around shooting other players in a skate park and watching poor saps getting washed away in that other map.
