I'm hoping for Christie and Tina so badly right now.

Free DLC, unless you're begging to be ripped off. I have DoA 5 Last Round on a wish list for my PS4. I hate fighting games, but I love bitches, and from what I've seen, it seems like the DoA fanbase has been conditioned to accept mountains of dlc milking the shit out of them. The characters already exist, so if they add it as paid content later to DoAX3, they're ripping you off; they're not doing anything except putting content you already expect to see behind a paywall. All characters should be included in the game. I get paying for a character they invent after release, but what I suggested should be basic shit.

Being the miser that I am, I purchased only the original DOA 5. I don't recall purchasing any of the DLCs either.

Actually Dead or Alive: Paradise that released on PSP would make it 7 years since a game like this was released. Overall, I agree about looking forward to stripper pole compilations. Also, that the Soft Engine takes advantage of the new physics, effects, and etcetra to make them even more unique than the last three games of this spin off.

I mean, how the fuck is there no DoA porn game? Partner up with Illusion and make DoA Academy or whatever. This softcore titty bouncing just kills me.

My excitement for this game is tempered by the thought that it'll probably end up being 90% DLC... I'm hoping we get at least 20 bikinis for each girl, but I wouldn't put it past Tecmo to put in less than that. Expect season passes w/ a "new" girl added in. I just hope they fix the whole gifting mechanic to make it less... frustrating.

I don't know who's worse when it comes to DLC: KoeiTecmo or BandaiNamco.

Some say Tina is overrated, but personally, I wish she were in DOA Xtreme 3 as well. I guess I will have to make do with Kokoro and Helena.

Just curious, but which region are you all buying the game from? I know the HK/Singapore release is supposed to have English subtitles, but there are enough unknowns still hovering around (how much text is actually translated, DLC availability) that I ended up going w/ the JPN release.

I know "basic" hiragana/katakana (re: give me a few seconds to recall the pronunciation), but I managed to muddle my way through 3 Idolm@ster games so I don't see how this'll be any worse.

Also, which character to you all plan on using first? I'm a long-time Ayane fan, but I'm going to try out Nyotengu first - everything about her is pure win!

Probably Helena since Christie and Tina don't exist here until DLC happens.
