Dota 2 v. League of Legends: Which is harder?
Which is harder, Dota 2 or LoL?

Stunned for 2 sec, and you're almost dead...
I think this WILL eventually lead to a war, so I'm staying out of this.

Void's chronosphere has a 5s stun by default, 6s stun with item. You forgot to mention it can also "stun" your allies as well :)

It's not a stun. A stun is a status that can effect anyone, chronosphere if stolen by rubick and used against void, it does not stop him.

Will post video once I find it.

This probably dosnt say much about the two games difficulties, but since we're on the topic of DOTA 2 and LoL. Dota2 is a game you buy whereas LoL is free to play (with the exception of RP). So in saying this, Dota is what you would expect from a paid game, more attention to detail, "better graphics" (by that it depends on your art style tastes, imo, dota seems graphically "better". However, I still prefer the art in LoL), more open map, and more champs from the get go.
LoL on the other hand only has 10 champs that change weekly, it's relativity easy to grasp the mechanics of the game (but then again, this type of genre is till moderately hard to master due to the variety of champs), two maps that provides different strategies and a different game mode, and overall what you would expect from a free to play game.
Nevertheless, both are great games that should be appreciated for what they offer.
But this type of comment is like trying to compare/differentiate lemons and oranges, both acidic and juicy but served differently.

Umm, dude? I hate to burst your bubble, but DOTA2 is a f2p game. Well, gonna be a f2p game, but it's in beta right now.
Valve knows that DotA has millions of players, waiting for DOTA2 to be released. So they thought of a way to reap a bit of cash while it's in beta.
If you can't wait for it to be released as a f2p game, then you can play the beta as it develops by paying 40$(?).
Of course, there are 2 roundabout ways to get it for a cheap price.
1: Go to http://www.reddit.com/r/sharedota2 and get free keys.
2: You could ask a friend of yours who has a Steam Account.
Chances are high that you'll get a dota2 key using these ways. Why? The game is nearing completion, not to mention TI3 is approaching, so Valve is churning out a lot of beta keys for players to give out.
PS
I still have 8 more betakeys of DOTA2, so if anyone wants them, PM me :)
EDIT
Found another wayto get a beta key, which is more convenient, since it works :)

LoL has a learning curve, but Dota has a learning cliff. I enjoy playing LoL better because theres a lot less things to worry about and a lot less things that make you rage such as 500 year stuns and global silences. Also in LoL your mana pool isnt completely used after one spell during the early laning phase. Both have their ups and downs, but they're both extremely good games and its all a matter of opinion which one you prefer.

Guess I never read the fine lines. I just bought it and played. Correct me if I am wrong, but from what I know, DOTA still got money from those that decided to buy it whereas LoL didnt.
