I did manage to kill it once tough it took a lot of my supplies to do it.

Well, I started a new character for max strength. Of course, I also transferred all the items I wanted from my previous character to this new one.

Was it the offline or online one?

I found it pretty easy after changing to assassin on my previous character.

I killed it offline as a magick archer.

Hmm, I never played a magick archer so I can't offer advice on that.

Also, try reducing its health as much as possible then rest at the inn for a checkpoint save. Return and kill him, and if you don't get the weapon you want, reload the checkpoint save.

Offline one I managed to kill twice now.
Should of right of reloading the checkpoint because I have two ascalons now.
I ended up getting a prize from the online one. That got me dwells-in-light.

Also, question.
If a weapon comes with an enchantment already, but a mage/sorcerer cats another enchant on it, does it give both bonuses our just the current one that's applied?

Now starting New game+ as a strider im going to try and finish every quest in the game before taking on the Ur dragon.

You know you can't fight it whenever, right?
Or are you just waiting on purpose?

At newgame+ there's a portal in the fishermen's town where one can fight the ur-dragon immediatly. Well of course, still better to wait until you reach Gran Soren and get access to hybrid classes.

Is it possible to get "Secret of Metamorphosis" even though you are not at the end or at NG+? If it's possible, I was wondering if someone could send me one because I used the "Art of Metamorphosis" already and I need to make my character bigger so he can carry more stuff and not be heavy all the time ._.


EDIT: What I mean is that if someone is at NG+ and could try to send it to me so I can try if it works even if I am not at NG+.

You can buy the permanent metamorphosis anytime.

"Art of Metamorphosis" is a one-time only item that is "Sold out" after you buy it. But, in NG+ you can buy a "Secret of Metamorphosis" how many times you want.

No. The Art of Metamorphosis can only be used once and you'll need to buy another to edit again.

You don't need go into a NG+ to get the Secret of Metamorphosis which unlocks the edit character option in the main menu; you only need to kill the dragon and get into post-game.

what a waste you've already used the same character 90% of the game might as well beat the game and re-do your character in new game+

It doesn't matter how cute you make your character's face, when you make her smile, it looks awkward.
