Thanks for the tips, but I've already beaten Salomet when I posted the above.
And the part when you said my pawns will re-spawn when they die... my main one didn't. Maybe that's because he already disappeared before I reached him? (fell off the cliff -_-)
Oooh... I heard that the respawning can glitch out once they fall off a cliff. I never had that happen to my main pawn, but I think it might've happened to another pawn I had. At least you can get them back easy at another Rift stone!
I always pick up my pawns whenever I have enough stamina and they are near edges and throw them away from the edges. It's tough love.
...Though I throw Rook off a cliff every time I start a new game. Hate that useless jackass.

Lol Rook. And earlier during the female thieves quest, I threw my main pawn over the cliff to die so I can complete the quest. Why? The female thieves hates male characters and if he was still in my party, I wouldn't be able to complete the quest.
And my main character is a female, while my other 2 pawns are also female.

What level are you guys currently? I'm level 38 right now. Sadly, my Pawn is more geared than me. Of course, I mean that in a good way, I just happen to find her gear constantly, me? Not so much. Life of a ranger is a harsh one. She has a blade with a permanent fire enchantment. A bunch of armor pieces with all level 2+ enhancements, and maxed vocation on fighter. She's a damn brilliant tank. Virtually unkillable. Love her to death, why can't she be my love interest?

lol I actually didn't have any trouble with the bandits once I reached their base (my Arisen was a guy). It's the ones leading up to their castle that gave me a pain. All my pawns were female my first playthrough.

As for your pawn being your love interest: It would be kind of...weird.
I'd go into it more, but I won't spoil anything for you. Beat the game and come back to me if you still have questions about Pawns. After three playthroughs I think I've figured totally figured it all out (as much as we can, anyway).

Anywhat, I think Warrior's get alot more equipment than other classes, Striders and such might have the least most. Still, uber tanks aren't enought to finish off the Ur-Dragon.
Oh and about the love interest..

I'm curious, is it possible to have multiple love interests at once? I mean I know it's frowned upon to have a Harem, but Konami did it!
I, by accident got Selene, and now I look like I have a lolicon complex. [size=6]Not that I don't like being a lolicon now and then in my H-mangas...[/h]
Well, I guess if anything it's Quina's fault. She went and being a nun and all that...
(NOTHING IS A SPOILER, The Quina thing is more of a joke if you do that quest)
Some of these pawns people upload are just awful by the way. I'm always looking for a mage, that puts item enchanting and healing the party as a priority, but they're always mow-down offensive and end up getting incapped.
<3 my Kagami. She's the best tank pawn ever. Unfortunately I'm swapping her vocations in search of new and better augments. So I'm using a new tank pawn from others, it's so heart breaking.

that sucks, when my inn keeper disappeared and fought the dragon i was stuck as an assassin, not as bad as yours though. but for me my inn keeper disappeared because he became my love interest some how and was kidnapped by the dragon, i wanted the duchess.
for me my inn keeper was located at the first town. for you after the world turns dark, acorrding to the map the new location should be the pawn quarters

DUDE! SPOILER THAT SHIT! SERIOUSLY!
Also, you eventually can buy enchanted weapons from Madeliene.
...Careful with the spoilers. The latter half of the story is the best part.

Don't worry. The game seems to have some sort of built-in anti-pedo thing going on, where if your character isn't a kid you likely won't end up with Selene.
You can have everyone in the kingdom have max affinity for you, but only one will be your lover-true. I think the most recent Maxed Affinity becomes your true love, or if you started a route and continued it until the end of the game.
Starting Madeliene: Escort her to the stronghold WAY back in the beginning of the game and give her the 1000 gold she asks for (cutely, by the way)
Starting Aelinore: Give her your stupid ass hat and meet her giddy handmaiden at night
Etc.
Be careful who you talk to the most, as you can wind up with some burly fucking man-meat becoming your love interest if you interact with them the most.
Primarily anyone you maxed in affinity needs to still be in Gransys in order to become your true love.

I have no idea why they do that! I kept my Mage a basic Mage because making them into a Warlock or whatever (the advanced form) leaves them unable to preform healing spells and turns them into magic tanks, which I find incredibly ineffective since they take too much time to cast shit.
My pawn's name is "Sigurd" if you're looking for a mage who's magically strong, has an enchantment spell, and has advanced healing skills. He sounds like a chipmunk, but he's good.

The inn is actually moved to the Pawn's...uh... Remember that pawn place with all the pawns in the back of the capital? The one in front of a cornfield? There. Asalam, the innkeeper (or as I call him "Ass Slam") is there now to make things easier for you.
So you beat the dragon, huh?

I was confused when I saw the inn keeper at the dragon's lair but I didn't put much thought in it. Then he gave me that stare and I was like 'what the fuck is this' then I cried after from what I saw

EDIT: NO ONE BUY THE GUIDE FOR THIS! It fucking sucks! Bradygames cannot write an RPG strategy guide to save it's life!
There isn't even a section detailing the main characters of the game!
You heard me:
In a guide book for an RPG, with a plot that very heavily relies on you interacting with the cast of the game and maxing someone's affinity, there is no Character Section.
...$17 wasted...
Good news is that someone confirmed you can romance Mercedes despite that one quest. Just make sure she's the only with with max affinity for you.
I'm off to go punch some people who love my Arisen too much. It's the only way.

O: I think I took it out already. Will it work if I put it back in my inventory? Whatever that is going to happen?

Do you understand the ending, or do you get it, but still had your mind blown?
My first time through I didn't know how to get the perfect ending and instead died to the boss and got trolled.
The achievement "Servitude" is for getting the troll ending.
