DS vs. PSP

95% of the people that buy these consoles just wanna pop in a game and play, not start hacking stuff and shit.
That's why the DS outsells the PSP, it's gaming library is so much better and original.

Childish =/= Not fun.
But yeah, it got alot of "childish" games, but as long as they're fun i'd take 'em over the PSP's Ps2 ports with horrible framrate anyday.

Just like to add that i have nothing against the PSP, it just totally lacks games that i think are worth buying.
Probably with some exceptions though.

dont buy games. download them. i got my psp "modded" (is that the word u use?) and i just download my games off the interwebs. 8 gig memory card really comes in handy here.

I got a flashcard and download some games to mah DS, but i feel like buying some too, need to support the videogame business :P

I'd have to say psp because the DS has good games yeah but thats about all they have.PSP has more games, hacks, and applications and overall it is better than the DS, but that does not mean they both dont have the up and downsides about it.

I own both a hack PsP and a DS, but I get bored with the PsP quite quickly. The DS always has some new interesting games to play on it.
But maybe that's just my taste for games. ;p

The DS outselling the PSP doesn't particularly mean it has a better gaming library. Its a matter of choice and taste. The people that buy the DS might be the ones that 'wanna pop in a game and not start hacking stuff and shit' but not the PSP owners.

P.S. this is just a response to Klown I'm in no way bashing the DS but more towards Klown. In fact I own both systems and I use them both and like every other members said both consoles have their ups and downs/pros and cons.

what he say is true but over 60% of the sold DS's were in japan. and those people who say that the psp has no games sorry but it has over 1000 games on pspiso.com at least...(<>_<>)

Those are "bullshit" numbers that i pulled out of my ass, but the reason the DS outsells the PSP is still because of it's gaming library.
If people wanted to watch movies and shit on the buss, or whatever, they'd buy a PSP.

Have you played Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories on the psp?
Played it on my m8's psp and when you get into face-off's with the cops in the middle of the city the framerate went down like a fuckin submarine.

If they're inovative and fun why should it bother you that they're "childish"?
Mario is "childish" in the eyes of most mainstream gamers, and the Mario games >>> Most of the shit released, sure it's a matter of preferences, but no one in their right mind can say that it's a bad game (whichever you wanna go with)

In terms of original gameplay the DS walks all over the PSP, childish games or not.
