Well the PSP only wins out for me because of Radiant Mythology, if Tales of Innocence and Hearts would actually be localized in the U.S. I'd have a reason to care about my DS aside from Pokemon.

I just absolutely despise remakes and both the DS and PSP library are filled with those. It makes me sad. -_-

the only reason I'm keeping my psp is because of Valkyrie profile: lenneth and Silent hill 1(thanks to custom firmware), since in both cases I couldn't get the psone version of either. If not for that, I probably woulda sold it by now.

Haha, i believe im one of the few people that this is directed at =X

Well, first of all, i have never said the DS is an "all Casual" game. Maybe it sounded like it on the earlier half of the cconversation >>; but i never literally said it, i only said that the DS is filled with more casual games as compared to the PSP. (even the hardcore games of the DS are more dumbed down versions in some cases... example would be the Yu-Gi-Oh of the DS compared to the Yu-Gi-Oh of the PSP... i have both, i have played and finished both, and i find the PSP version to have more contents and in overall, is more enjoyable).

I agree that the NDS does have its share of hardcore games, also, you forgot to mention Super Robot Wars: Endless Frontier and the Pokemon games, i really love them and they are also of the NDS.

However, My point of the argument is that i enjoy the games that the PSP have to offer more than those that the NDS has to offer. A great example of good PSP games that ate my life would be the Monster Hunter series. Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G alone took 1,103 gaming hours out of my life >>; I lost my save file for Monster Hunter Freedom 1, so i cant add that to the total.

There are alot of great games yet to come on the psp as well, Including: Disgaea 2, Armored Core 3, Armored Core: Silent Line, Armored Core: The Last Raven, Assassin's Creed, etc etc etc.

There are far more games that i enjoy on the PSP than on the NDS and the intensity of enjoyment is ALOT more on the PSP too. during the time i was addicted to raiding in WoW, i was willing to give up my raid spot for the night so i could play monster hunter >>; NO game on the NDS would make me do that.

In conclusion, its all my preference, opinion, and my point of view of the argument. I never said every one of my words is stated as fact and should be followed by like a religion.

Since there was like five of you talking over each other i don't know who it was, but one of you clearly stated that the DS was all casual, or "a casual system".

Whoever said that clearly don't know what he's blabbering about, and im getting the feeling that ever since Nintendo released the Wii all the anti-nintendo tards are labeling everything Nintendo does as casual, which is about as retarded as all the PS3/360 players suddenly declaring themselves "hardcore" players.
So goddamn gay...

Even if one of the versions of the same game has some extra content that doesn't make the other version less "hardcore".

Im not enough of a handheld fan to keep track of all games out.

Yeah this is nice and all, but it's not what the current topic is about, it's about the DS being called all casual and it's been disproven, so now i want to hear the other sides argument about that.

hmm well, theres nothing more to say then, im sure i wasnt the one who stated that >>; I wasnt aware all those were stated too since i wasnt reading what the other 4 were saying...

Again, i have never stated it is "Less Hardcore", although "dumbed Down" can understandably be assumed to mean "Less Hardcore", in that instance, i meant "not as enjoyable". The extra contents on the PSP version included more up to date cards, which affects the overall gameplay by alot.

if thats the case, I am not the person you want to talk to about this. I only said the NDS is the more casual of the two handhelds >>; i never said it doesnt have a single hardcore game.

But if you want me to prove that, its gonna take a really damn long time to compile a list of "hard core" games on the PSP =/

Do you remember when GTA and Halo were considered casual games and Metroid Prime was for hardcore players? Man, those were some good times. Times have really changed haven't they?

Also, of course DS is gonna have more casual games than PSP. It's not surprising considering the DS completely destroys the PSP when it comes to their library of games.

I doubt that, but you can go ahead and entertain us anyway.

When was Halo ever considered a casual game? <.<

For better or worse everyone knew it was hardcore, but people either loved it or hated it for the revolutionary rebounding shield mechanic. Praised by some and hated by others, almost all of them PC elitists, ironically. <.<

PSP does have a good amount of titles out...in japan, from the last ani-con I went to I bought Intial D and Gundam vs Gundam. The great thing about PSP is there is no region protection. Even though I can't read Japanese, it won't hurt to experiment with the buttons a little bit or even go online to see if there is a translation.

I have the benefit of both worlds. My DS is used alot for portable gaming while my PSP gathers dust until i feel like watching a movie on the go maybe. But the PSP does have some titles that i am rather looking forward to.

The DS is a shitty system. Really why does any system need 2 screens? Also the games that come out for it suck. Really this competition shouldn't be happening because PSP is so much better.

I don't want to call DS childish but ever since I found a "Dora the Explorer" game in it, I can't help but entertain the idea... I'm voting for the psp because I find "touch screen" as unnecessary for a game.

DS: 130.5 million units sold

and once the 3DS is fully out, that number will really spike.

3ds just might impress me if they surpass the psp's graphics, BTW only bought the psp so I can play the next chapter of metal gear 3 (portable ops and peace walker) also monster hunter 3 (soon).
