This game won't work with Applocale ,so you must change your Regional Unicode to Japanese.

Another question, how can I manually set the graphics settings? Only when the game crashes then I am able to set them again.

Extract the stuff into your kamidori folder, copy and paste "SAVE.dat" file into the saves location for kamidori, then run the "SaveOpen.exe" in your kamidori folder.

Saves location for kamidori is, by default on win7, located in c:/user/USERNAME/AppData/Local/Eushully/神採りアルケミーマイスター/SAVES

All of the following below are accessable in NG+, or on the latest save (save #22).
-100% CGs (And HCGs)
-Most characters have 100 in all stats (not including HP).
-Some characters have not yet been leveled to 99.
-Tons of materials and stat stones.
-Most ultimate weapons (all except Ragsmu's).
-All costumes.
-All artifacts, fountain of youth (I wouldn't recommend releveling characters that already have 100 in all stats).

That's 150 hours for that single play through. The hours aren't brought over after each NG+, so it's actually much more probably. I know I spent way more than 150 hours on this game.

No, lol. It doesn't take that long for one play-through xD. About 150 total.

Any ideas on why there's a separate action video window popping up?

Actually, I've spent 40 hours so far and I'm only at chapter 4. But, then again, I am a notoriously slow gamer and I've spent quite a bit of time level grinding.

One of those "three other disks" was probably the hannah append. To make sure your append installation is fine go to the following folder:

(Default win7 folder)
C:/Program Files (x86)/Eushully/神採りアルケミーマイスター

Then, once in that folder look for the following three files:
APPEND03.ALF
APPEND02.ALF
APPEND01.ALF

There should also be .AAI filetypes with the same names of the above.

Like during the opening cinematics, the video is loaded on a separate window.
All the video files were loaded on a separate window so you won't get the flashy animations during a battle.

Frankly, I do not know. I'm assuming you've already tried reinstalling.

As a side note - if you didn't already know - you could turn off combat animations in the config. I haven't experienced your situation so I wouldn't know, but it might be a workaround your problem.

Well it's not really much of a problem, everything runs fine it's just the animations are appearing in a new window instead of in the game window.
Well I'll try re-installing and see what happens.

Re-installed, still the same. From what I can gather is that there's definitely something weird going on with the video renderer.
