its a quite good game, think of its as fire emblem+hentai+rune factor (or any game that craft weps/sell things)

I played this game last year, it's definitely right up there as my favorite visual novel. It has a good story, fun gameplay, a rewarding item creation mechanic and of course great *cough* scenes.

I would recommend this game to anyone. It has great replay value due to the various storylines and the hidden levels that unlock as you play and the myriad of unlockable characters.

Everyone who loves visual novels should play this game!

How the fuck do I get past the dragon hunt quest? The dumbfuck merchants keep getting themselves killed.

Have one character impede the path of the dragon. If done correctly, the dragon can only proceed one tile at a time towards the merchants. Have all the other units clearing the mobs that are awaiting the merchants. No matter what you do, do not leave an area empty of ally units, this leaves the area vulnerable to be taken by the enemy and the previously mentioned strategy will be used against you.

Thing is though, that's what I've been doing and the merchants still fucking die

Put Yuela at the back to hold the dragon.
Will up front because the man eaters are rather tough.
Serawi and Emelita for the sides.
When the dragon enters the second area send Yuela to replace Emelita, the dragon will advance one space at a time.
Send Emelita up to deal with the man eaters, dispose them before the merchants are in range.

I finally was able to do it, what I pretty much did was get Will to guard against the dragon because of the weapon that gives prevail, Yuela Serawi and Emilita to cover ground and Meliodana and Sharty to cover air. I also prevented the merchants from moving at all until I cleared the map.

Ah, for some reason I thought it was the first dragon encounter. Lil late for advice for that one, but the archer's snipe with elemental bows (mainly wind and fire) would have helped with that one.

Haha no, the first encounter was too easy in my easy. It was the second one that annoyed me to no end. And this isn't even my first playthrough so you'd think I'd know what to do in that one map but nope. Though I'm not on NG+, it's a long and complicated backstory on that one. But yeah thanks anyway for the advice.

I find the second one to be much more easy. Just nuke him with the strongest magic you have or with range and let Yuela or Wil tank him.

I think the problem was the other mobs bum rushing the merchants that were trying to run away.

Anyone know when Ragsmuena becomes a party member? I've done monster killing quest for her food already. I'm on Chapter 9 though. Am I locked out of getting her in my party?

She joins in chapter 8. If you're in chapter 9 you probably missed it. She joins when you've finished the reaper quest line, which I think ends with feeding her, after which you should get to view her H-CG. Yuela also has to be at least level 38.

I'm just getting back into this game myself.

Yuela lvl 37.... Crossing my fingers that I can still get her in my party. If not backtrack tiem.

Edit. AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW YEH, got her. Fuck yeah, fuck yeah. Thanks man. And yeah you can still get her in chapter 9 as long as you have the quests done.

Cool beans. Ragsmuena was one of favourites to use throughout my first playthrough (but then Mylen came along...).

How do you get the NG+ people like Mylen? I only ask because I know I need them for Meister.
